This has the potential to be excellent! But there were a few hiccups, and I believe it’s because the place is somewhat new. A few growing pains only makes sense. I am not deducting a star, because again, the potential is there, and the food we received was very good. The reason I say there were a few growing pains is because they were out of a few items. For instance, they were out of the dogfish beer that I wished and then out of my second choice as well. There were a few other substitutions for us as well. All that said, the server was in good spirits and seemed to know the menu very well. Even though the place is in a bit of a strip mall, it is bright and lovely with a beautiful mural behind the bar and… the bathroom has lotion! Any restaurant that has the courtesy to put lotion in the bathroom is automatically rated higher in my esteem. My husband had the Pad Thai, because his order hasn’t changed in 20 years at Thai restaurants. :) It’s the way he gauges a Thai restaurant. It was good, although he said the sauce could be a bit more vinegary and a little bit less “tomato-y“. I know they don’t have actual tomatoes in pad Thai, but he usually differentiates between pad thais that have a little bit more vinegar/lime/tamarind and zing to them and those that seem more like “tomatoey” thicker sauce. I think it’s a function of the tamarind paste potentially? Some American restaurants have switched to using a tomato base in its place, which makes it a lot less tangy. And I’m not saying that this restaurant used tomato base in place of tamarind, I’m just saying he prefers a little bit more zing and tamarind and more lime juice. But a lot of diners don’t like that much lime juice and tamarind. So… Regardless, he said it was very good. My dish was very good. The sauce was on point. The veggies were nicely steamed and the scallops were plentiful.

3.5/5. Went here because it was close to our vacation spot and had good reviews. Ambiance was cute but the food was overall lacking. Nothing was bad but nothing was necessarily amazing either. We had the chicken satay to start along with fried gyoza. Chicken seemed a little dry but flavors for peanut sauce and marinade were good. The sauce accompanying the dumplings was pretty salty. For entrees, we split the pad thai and the mango curry. The pad thai was just off - flavors werent bad but the consistency of the sauce was almost soupy and it felt like it needed thickening. The pad thai was served without basil or lime which I am not used to. The mango curry had a subtle mango flavor and some chunks to it and overall was a much better dish than the pad thai. Would come here again to give the curries another try but would steer clear of the pad thai

Called to order takeout, was told to hold, waited for 10 minutes before the line went dead. Called 5 more times before I could get through to someone to place my order again. When I arrived, the final bill was significantly higher than I expected, and when I asked I was told that the menu prices uploaded to the Google profile are way outdated. We based our choices on that menu and feel it's the restaurants responsibility to keep this updated. All of this could have been forgiven if the food was good. However, their fried spring rolls are so soft and mushy, no crunch, they needed way more time in the fryer. The pad Thai and Pad see ew lack flavor and spice. I've never been to a Thai restaurant that doesn't offer varying levels of heat. There is zero spice or kick whatsoever. Flavorless and overpriced sums it up. Total disappointment.

Great food and friendly owners. Go so Covid-19 doesn't claim another business.

Update July 2025: This place has gone down hill fast. Since the new ownership, the service and food have suffered greatly.

Walked in on a Sunday evening and was asked if we had a reservation, which was never needed all the other times we have been here. They told us it would be 10 minutes which was fine. While Waiting we noticed the temperature in the restaurant was very warm, 80+ degrees easily, and all the employees were sweating. Still we decided to stay, it was a hot day and maybe the AC was having a hard time keeping up. There were only 5 or 6 tables full and the rest were empty and they started to tell people coming in that it was going to be an hour wait or more for food. We had just ordered and they didn't tell us that, but sure enough an hour later our food came out with apologies from our waitress. Those that got the Pad Thai were happy but the Pad Kee Moa tasted like salt. Sooooo salty. Definitely not the food this place used to put out. The prior time we went there, about a year ago, the food was slightly better, but still not what it was during the prior ownership.

The employees, while pleasant, acted like they didn't want to be there either. Honestly, I feel this place is run by college frat and sorority kids and we overheard them telling other customers that the staff will all be new soon as they were all going to leave for college soon. So not far off there

While we have had worse experiences, this place is not what it was and what used to be a favorite is now another place we will not return to unfortunately. Unless things change, and they get the AC fixed, I don't think they will be there...

Mango Thai , Is a Clean restaurant and the atmosphere is cool and comfortable . The menu has everything Thai, and more than you would expect.

The food was fresh and the flavors unique to the dishes they served .

The drinks were cold that should be cold and items that needed to be hot were hot!!! The Heat spice chart is spot on!!!Anyone who has complained about this restaurant is definitely wrong and should go back to where they came from… Our service staff, ASHLEY and BRIANNA.. were professional, courteous, and informative. They assisted our table of 6 flawlessly!!! I definitely have to give a shout out to the cook!! The behind the scenes magician….

One last thing. When I called, it was during the last night of bike week, we had a party of 6 , I didn’t want our group to get skunked and miss out on Thai food so I called and made reservations, they take em and they honor them.. Sometimes they are whip whap slammed, other times , plenty of room to move around… What a...
