1/29/23 Update Went back thru the drive thru, and the same lady was there. This time. she was quite pleasant. Also, I ordered the Adobado and it was good. However, the chicken enchiladas remain the best thing I've tasted here.
Original review ‐‐---------------------- I am rating as a drive through fast food place
I ordered the three enchiladas plate (beef, chicken and cheese). They were all very edible, but the chicken was by far the best, as it was tender and fresh with light flavors. The beef was OK, but I do not prefer bell pepper in my enchiladas, would have preferred a pablano or hatch, etc. Also, the enchilada sauce was a bit salty. The cheese was pretty much just cheese and tortilla, with the same slightly salty sauce as the beef one... Would have been better if the cheese had onions, olives, and/or chili's, etc. inside, and a different sauce, say a verde sauce?
I also forgot to order a side of rice and beans at the speaker, so had to order it at the window. The woman taking orders was none to pleased with me, based on the stern look she gave me when I tried to get her attention. I will say that the beans and rice were good, especially with a little hot sauce on them.
Overall, the food was a 4.0 or 4.5 star fast food effort, but the service with a smile was very much lacking, but I didn't take off much for that as I'm sure my order at the window request is not her favorite. But, when I return, if she remains "foul", I will then change the review to reflect an unpleasant...
Read moreHighly disappointed in tonight's dinner. Stopped at Los Betos for some Mexican food. When we got there we found out that it's drive thru only. It wasn't a big deal so we ordered to go. I ordered the two taco combo meal and my husband grabbed the two enchilada combo meal.
Everything was going smoothly. Paid at the window. After hanging out for a bit while the food was being made the gentleman working the window told us they were out of rice. With rice being a main side for all your meals, how does one run out of rice? We were asked if we wanted any salsa. We said yes. Got our food and headed on our way.
Arriving home I was getting our dinners situated. Opening my to go container, everything looked great but it was hard not to notice how much smaller the tacos they are serving now. They have shrunk dramatically. They were good but would have been better if the salsa that they were supposed to give me were in the bag. The tacos are very one noted since there was no salsa to pair with it. My husband's enchilada was ok. They were not really warm in the middle. The way everything was packaged, it looked like it was all slapped together really fast.
I have really fond memories of Los Betos. Late night snacks. Food after going out. But tonight's dinner just didn't make the cut. With Mexican restaurants popping up all over town, you'd think you'd be on top of your A game. Unfortunately tonight really missed that mark from food, service and...
Read moreI can't ever get what I want here because I can't understand what they're saying. Between them speaking very bad English and the crappy speaker at the drive through. Then there's no etiquette, usually a person says "ok, pull up to window", but nothing. So I'm like, um, I guess I'll go to the window?
I asked for guac and Pico on my burrito, didn't get any. Then it was just filled with a ton of crappy green peppers and small chucks of hardly any meat. I wish i could post a picture of the crap that I got. Plus it took over five mins with only one person in front of me.
I like the Fairview location. This one sucks, the only reason I come back every couple months is because it's close to work and in hopes of improvement.
I'm so sick of getting burned by this place. I know it's cheap, but my six bucks would be better spent at...
