Boise Fry Company — Restaurant in Garden City

-- Update -- I mentioned my order issues from my original review to one of the staff members after paying for an in-person order. Why did I go again, well, the food is delicious, but that online ordering experience was terrible, so I decided to go in person.

Anyway, I the staff member mentioned it to the manager on duty and she came out to discuss it with me. Long story short, they're going to work on fixing the online ordering issues and their phone issues. She also refused to let me pay for my order and refunded it.

So, great food, especially the duck fat fries, and a willingness to fix the problems earns them an upgrade to 5 stars. Did I mention I love the food?

-- My Original Review -- The food, when they get it right, is delicious. Ordering online, however, can be a nightmare, and this is why I'm choosing a 1-star review instead of the 4 stars I would've given them.

I ordered a no-bun burger, it came on the bun. For people who do not order burgers without the bin, this might sound like a non-issue. The problem is that all the sauces and juices get soaked up into the bun and stick to the bun. So, when they mess this up, you end up with a dry piece of hamburger meat.

Also, when ordering a large order of their fries for $10 and they then leave it out of the order, that's quite a loss.

Last, but not least, when I try calling them at the number posted on Google and on their website and it just keeps going unanswered by them and instead by Verizon telling me to check the number and try again, the only way I have to get them to make this right is to drive 10-15 minutes back to them to tell them in person, praying they won't call me a liar and having to spend 30-45 minutes doing so.

Get it right the first time, and, for crying out loud,...

Prepare your stomachs for this exciting adventure to the Boise Fry Co (which is located by the reel theater and Mongolian BBQ). Boise Fry Co. is a walk-in order get-out burger joint that is known for its great fries. The delicious fries are going to blow your socks off because of how delicious they are oh, and don’t get me started on the burgers. Also, I could not get in contact with the owner

When I walked into Boise Fry Co with me, my 2 brothers, my parents, my aunt, my uncle, and my cousin. I ordered a normal hamburger but with no cheese, no pickles, or onions it was delicious and so, so juicy even though they messed up my order, they only messed up my order because I was not very clear when talking, the burger cost $10 for just the normal. Also, because of covid-19 most of the restaurant was shut down so it was a very small and cramped place.

It was a Sunday afternoon and the day was the 25 of October and I got the best seat, it was the window seat! It also was very cold outside about 27 degrees Fahrenheit and I just got there from taking fall pictures with my mom and aunt. The server was very energetic and he sounded excited when we asked him lots of questions but in the end, I loved the visit.

Boise Fry Co is a very interesting place because when I walked in the store it had a very funny shirt that said “Cutting carbs every day” and the shirt had a man using a french fries machine and cutting the potatoes into french fries and another shirt said “Fueled by fries” and the shirt had a man-eating fry’s.

In conclusion, your stomachs should be pleading with you so much right now. In the end, I would rate it ⅘ stars and I would definitely recommend this...

BFC has been around for a hot minute and finally stopped in to grab some lunch today. What an fun burger joint with so many fry options! It was hard to decide what to have with all the options available but we decided on the keeping it classic today.

Another plus to the burger joint is I finally found one of my long lost favorite people, Jake! Jake and I grew up together and is honestly one of the most amazing people on this planet. Having Jake there made my experience and food that much better!

For lunch my husband and I both grabbed the classic burger. Jake was nice and grilled my red onions for me! I loved the char on my patty. It was topped with fresh lettuce, a great slice of tomato and special sauce. The fries we ordered were the golden potato. They were fried perfectly! I love softer fries and these were prepared that way! We received a good portion of them to share. Another great thing about this joint is all the seasoning and sauce options! I'm pretty partial to fry sauce and it was a tasty dipping that perfect fry in it!

I'm happy I got to stop in today for a great meal and to see Jake! Another awesome thing about this joint is that it's right down the road from me. Looking forward to trying other things on their menu...
