Yesterday I wanted a delicious breakfast as it was a cold snowy morning. My mom perfers L. George's for familiar comfortability but I wanted to try a new restaurant in my community and the Jagged Fork won. I have previously visited their Grosse Pointe location about a year ago and fell in love with the Chicken Florentine Crepes šŸ˜‹ so I decided I'd try those here as many places don't sell them or don't do them right. Oh my Gosh .... they were even better here than I remembered. Everything was hot and fresh and nice portions. Our waitress Toni was amazing, she had a warming smile and great demeanor. She took time with us and was knowledgeable of her menu items. She took time out with my son who has autism to acknowledge him and make him apart of our dining experience as we bonded over our love for the Lions as all staff was in full dress of Lions gear and the fact that she has a little cousin who is also autistic and non verbal. My son got the biggest mickey mouse pancake with whipped cream and bananas and upon tasting everything was delicious, the pancakes were fluffy and buttery. You can tell they take take time in their food and execution of each dish. The service was superb and atmosphere was welcoming. We definitely will return and ask for Toni !

I had the pleasure of eating at the jagged fork and let tell you šŸ˜. We we first arrived we had to wait 30 minutes. Although there was seating at the bar. There wasn't enough staff to accommodate. Which isn't a problem but worth noting. Food : I ordered the cinnamon swirl pancakes and the triple omelette. Both were very good. I like that they bring warm syrup to the table and this unique looking bottle. The convenience of warm syrup on pancakes. I wouldn't have put the two together but it was great. The triple omelette had all the meat and was fluffy too. Thinking about it makes me want to go back Sunday. Service: I have no complaints about the service. We had a great waitress and it seemed to me. Even though it was busy the staff handled the crowd as best as they could. Atmosphere: When I looked the place up on Google. It was a cool restaurant and when I saw it in person. It had a cool vibe. They have a bar area and a lounge area where you can wait for your table. I really liked the vibe of this restaurant Overall, it's worth a visit or two and if you are in that area for breakfast or brunch. Stop in and get that triple omelette. You won't regret it and if you like this place as much as I do. Definitely, leave a thumbs up.

Just left so this is fresh in my mind- Stay away from this location. Had a party of 6. Asked to be put on the wait list. Got a blank stare and was told there was not an active list. He asked me my name, told him. Told me the wait would be 45 minutes. 30 minutes later was asked my name again and got a text that I was on the list now. Ok… Watched several tables of smaller parties get seated before us. Asked and was told there was only two spots they could fit 6 people. Pointed out other tables they could do it and got a shrug. Right. Finally got a text after 53 minutes indicating the table was ready. Asked and was told it was a mistake. I’m starving btw but the other places we called while waiting said they had a long wait time too. Finally after almost 90 MINUTES they sat us. We don’t make a scene or anything. Took it on the chin like polite midwesterners we are. Food was decent but the waiter forgot my bacon and for the extra lemon curd I asked for. Lemon curd blueberry pancakes were decent. Everyone liked their food. Word on the street is the Grosse Pointe location is better. Avoid this one. PS You’re to go containers don’t latch

I wish my dine in experience with this place was better, but unfortunately I was let down.

Right of the jump we were seated at a table directly in front of the door. I understand from a seating perspective that you want diners to be seated as soon as possible, but during the cold winter days a table RIGHT next to where people enter and exit is a demerit as is.

I ordered the Chicken Cali Club Wrap and to my dismay, the portion size provided was... small and undesirable. The fries were plentiful and crispy, but that's about the most praise I can offer this dish. It was a pretty cheap tortilla with barely any filling. You know when you get to the last few bites of a wrap you're expecting everything that went to the bottom to be left? All I got was mouthfuls of toasted and dry tortilla.

The breakfast is just that, breakfast. Nothing else to write home about.

Our server while polite was not attentive. Only checking in one time after our food was delivered and not keeping drinks topped off is a huge demerit from me.

Lets get into the last part I didn't appreciate. A 18% gratuity. I understand if it's a high end place or you have a large party of guests, but for a regular dine in order of 2 people? Really? You're a brunch place serving less than stellar wraps and okay breakfast at best. You don't get to casually have an 18% gratuity if you didn't earn it. I was originally going to leave 2 stars, but after checking and remembering that on my receipt its now a 1. If you want brunch, go to literally any other Coney island or some other place that ALLOWS you to leave...

I’m looking at the score of 4.2 and I can’t believe it. I have been to Dearborn, Southfield, and the original in Grosse Pointe. The food is consistent and that’s rare that you get the same quality from different stores. The service is always amazing. Whenever my family members are in town, I bring them to Jagged Fork. My last visit was December 28 and once again they did not disappoint. I am always excited to go because the coffee is so amazing and it’s only topped by the quality of food. The staff is very friendly, which makes your dining experience just that much better. My server yesterday was the Manager as well her name was Toni and The owners hired an exceptional employee. I also have to mention the head cook Leon because he’s a passion about what he serves and making sure the customers are happy & satisfied. I’m a foodie and love trying new restaurants but the best ones I frequent more often. I’ve gotten five star service each and every time I went in 2024 no matter what location. The only minor caveat is charging a 18% gratuity upfront. I understand why they do this, but I Always tip more I guess I just don’t like a business Demanding a gratuity. That being said this is still a five star restaurant that I Would recommend to the locals and especially to the visitors because I believe they would be just as...
