Why the Hype?

Was wondering why this place got such rave reviews, then I figured it out. Some of the 5 star reviews are fake. Seriously, go check them out towards the bottom or the next page, I'll wait here......

Server issues

No, not the server that all your computers are connected to at work, I mean the person who is supposed to greet you, meet you, tell you about the menu, answer your questions, take your dinner order, bring your food out, ask you how your food is.

It's a faulty server when he makes you order 3 separate times, forget to bring your food out, then actually not ever bring your food out, refuse to separate the clams from the crawfish and tell you that if you have a food allergy to shellfish that it's "ironic" that you're there then you should carry an effin EpiPen around!

Maybe you need to carry a helmet around so you don't hurt yourself walking around. Owner or manager of KOC, if you are reading this, you've got to get rid of this guy. You have got to know who this server is without...

When I called in to place an order for Com Chien Ca Mang, the girl that picked up had no idea what I was talking about. Then another girl came on, took my order. I picked it up, paid $14.03 or something like that for a normal sized entree of Salted Fish Fried Rice, which is completely overpriced. I paid anyway since I already ordered and was already there. I get home, started eating, took three bites and realized there was no salted fish. I found two little pieces of salted fish in the entire entree. Waste of time and waste of money. NEVER AGAIN. I paid $14 for a regular fried rice that I could have bought at Panda Express! The little pieces that looks like fish are bits of mushroom pieces chopped up to LOOK like fish. Very good flavor here. I have been to a few spots in texas which were in some aspects better but I really enjoyed this place. I ordered 2 lbs of very spice KOC style and tbh I was disappointed in the spice level but hey it was tasty. The other thing is the flavor did not penetrate the crawfish that well. However this allowed me to taste the crawfish which was nice. I could taste the freshness of the crawfish which was nice for me because sometimes I get a bad pound or 2. Enjoyed...
