Submarine Crab — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Honestly was here Saturday August 23rd 2025 left around 9:30pm or so Honestly I got the 2lbs of peeled shrimp and i choose the 2 lobster tail Honestly not good the lobster tail was horrible it had strong nasty smell but still the smelled lingering around the rest of the shrimp and potatoes I was really dissatisfied a bit because they literally gave me a bad lobster tail it wasn't even clean at all it was just smell rotten all bad. I started to feel sick once I got home already and then the bill was expensive over $100 they charge me like wth . The lobster tail still had the black veins inside and it wasn't appealing at all especially the strong bad smell it wasn't even fresh horrible I gotten food poisoned all bad but I got the bad smell from it aniways and I still got sick horrible not coming here anymore .im still sick vomiting and diarrhea all bad i cant even sleep at all i feel nauseous, migrain, this restaurant food literally killed my night i got food poisoning horrible never coming back here with my husband and my son...

Just ate there yesterday with my GF. Don’t get me wrong the food is great and the young servers were very nice. The owner lady needs to work on her body language and what she says out loud. They over charged us for two Cajun fries that we noticed after paying. My GF went back to let them know and the older owner threw her hands in the air in the background mumbling to another server “It’s only fries…” in a disappointed way where it shouldn’t be a big deal. The server that took care of the refund was nice and took care of us.

I get that it’s only fries… $7 fries. The point is that we ordered 1 not 2!!! It’s the principle. As a business owner myself, that’s the business mistake and the owner needs to make it right. So the tips we left don't mean anything?

Maybe the owner was the servers mom but that’s a bad example to display in front of your kids regarding customer service.

First stop into town. Not a bad choice. We sat down pretty quickly. I've tried about 3 cajun seafood places now and was a little disappointed but did try some new dishes. We had ordered a seafood pot with crawfish/ shrimp/ corn/ sausage, garlic noodles, fries, and their lychee drink. The drink was interesting it came with dry ice to give the visual smoke effect - also NOT edible. The service was fair, it was tough to understand our server.

Atmosphere: 3 (Fair, not themed a lot. Couple TV's small place. Seats about 50 people. The owner I believe - stood at the register watching everyone the entire time.) Food Quality: 5 (The seafood was not the best, it tasted fair but I feel the sauce was just poured on top and not soaked in the sauce. Wasn't the best flavor either.) Service: 5 (Really nice service. But a language barrier.) Cleanliness: 4 (Mixed feelings but overall it was not bad.)
