Jeong’s Noodle Garden Grove 정현영 짬뽕 — Restaurant in Garden Grove

Stopped by H Mart to grab some groceries and decided to try this Korean restaurant right next door, Jeong’s Noodle.

Order at counter and everything is self served.

We ordered the Jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles) for $11.50. The sauce was on the sweeter side than I expected—not bad, but definitely suited for those who like a sweeter jjajang.

The highlight, though, was the Jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup) for $13.99. It came in a huge bowl and was packed with seafood. The broth had a nice kick and was full of flavor, definitely worth ordering if you like a little heat.

A convenient stop if you’re already shopping at H Mart and craving something warm and hearty!

New, clean, modern establishment with about 30 seats. #1 Black bean noodles had a very nice n subtle savory flavor that was very enjoyable. Good size portion. #3 spicy seafood noodles were surprisingly beyond excellent. A medley of octopus, shrimp, mussels, cabbage, carrots, Al dente noodles together with slightly spicy soup were a match made in heaven. Super lucky to have this culinary experience. I ordered the shrimp fried rice and reg jjampong. The portions for both dishes are big enough for two people! The flavor is also solid; the jjampong had a nice firey flavor on the soup. The noodles, veg, and seafood were cooked perfectly, and was seasoned just the right amount. The fried rice was also solid with the shrimp texture being very bouncy and delicious.
