Paris Baguette — Restaurant in Garden Grove

My family and I are longtime customers and like their products but giving 1 star for this location because of the service by Lisette. One of the worst services I ever experienced and rudest person I ever met.

Came here for an Uber Eats pickup as soon as I accepted the offer. Checked in with employees. Then the brilliant Lisette comes with a receipt to show me the time of the order. I told her I received a minute ago as well, not to worry, and I'll wait. But she keeps going by telling me not to come until 10 minutes after order is put in becauseshe needs more time to complete the order. (10 minutes for 2 drinks and bread?) I told her that's not how it works, and that I'm not going to drive around or wait outside for 10 minutes. Also, told her not to worry and I'm looking around. But she kept going on about not having enough time when she should be working on the order and started saying I was rude. Then I pointed out she's the rude one when she's the one who came to me with a receipt and told me not to come until 10 minutes after the order which I wouldn't know when the order started in the 1sr place.

Finally. after order was done which took more than 10 minutes, she gives me 2 drinks, a box, and a fancy paper bag without cup holder or big bag. This violates the contract with Uber Eats. She purposely didn't bag or give me cup holder to make my job harder. Reported her and store.

I would NEVER come here again or recommend this place. There are many great bakeries nearby, across the street or down...

This is my second time here. The first time I got a chocolate croissant and iced pumpkin latte. I really loved the chocolate croissant. The croissant is buttery and crisp like a puff pastry. It’s in a shape of a classic croissant not the European square shape. There’s not that much chocolate inside but it makes up for the drizzle on the exterior. The Ice pumpkin latte was not good. It tasted like Vietnamese coffee with pumpkin flavored milk. Nothing special especially when it’s pre-made.

Second time I came back, I got a chocolate croissant and a feuillete au chocolat which is a custard chocolate croissant with creme inside. I’m not a fan of custard donut and I was hesitant but this was nothing at all like a custard donut. The creme inside was very subtle, it was baked with the chocolate and dried off. It was actually yummy. Tasted exactly like the croissant but in a different shape and has a bit of sweet creme. Very tasty.

My husband came to buy a cake and some pastry for our family, he walk in the door they didn't even acknowledge him like they do to the other's peoples. When he went to pay he ask Dino if he can get something written on the cake Dino look at him and look at the other staff as if he was crazy or something, they didn't even offer candles or anything my husband have to literally ask for it. They Didn't even say thank you before he walk out, but others get greeted and a thank you when they leave. Why is he getting discriminated? Is it because he not Vietnamese? Don't be discriminating because of colors and races treat everyone equally give the same respect. We go here all the time but if this is going to happen when we come then i will advised my whole community not to go here anymore. There is lot of better...
