King Huarache — Restaurant in Garden Grove

I’ve been waiting for my meal that I paid for through their software system and nobody even bothered to prepare my order. I called for assistance and nobody came from the back. When it started to take awhile I came in to show my receipt and at first nobody knew I order anything, the receipt barely helped as other customers who came in way after me, their meal was prepped and ready for them. I love small restaurants like this but if your not a regular your gonna get swept under the rug. I didn’t even get the drink I paid for. They kept trying to give me things that were not what I ordered. I don’t understand how this place does business. Definitely not worth your time unless your in their little circle. I will not be coming back ever again even if this was the last place to get food from. Do not buy Aguas Frescas as they only have 3 in jugs but over a dozen flavors on their machine system. This isn’t quality service at all, as a first time customer I genuinely do not like this operation and management. They only care about their phone calls and inner circle. I gave a 10% tip and I bought a Fresca that they didn’t give me, that’s about $6 I lost throughout this transaction because nobody really wanted to properly assist me with my order. If you haven’t been here, this is a must!!! We ordered a huarache, a burrito and the fries. First my burrito came out…. It was at that moment I knew I ordered too much food, lol. When my order came out… it had to be at least 12”. That burrito could have easily feed 3 people! The flavors are out of this world!! I cut a piece of my Adobada California burrito and took a bite…. melted in my mouth. The pastor with the pineapple mmmm 😋 I stole some of my husbands huarache, and the masa was so good I couldn’t stop eating it. My daughters fries were super crispy and a perfect side for us to share. I ended up ordering another burrito to go for my son so I didn’t have to share my leftovers. The workers were welcoming, kind and extremely good to everyone that walked in. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I’m in the area. The menu is easy to read and they have a good selection of different dishes and lots of choices. Can’t wait to come back and try...

While the food was absolutely delicious, what truly made the experience special was the amazing service. Susanna, our server, was incredibly warm, kind, and friendly. She made us feel right at home, going out of her way to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of.

It's rare to come across someone who genuinely takes a personal interest in people, and Susanna’s kindness and positive energy truly stood out. The world needs more places that hire people like her—someone who not only provides great service but also brings a sense of goodness and warmth to the experience.
