Really good food. Right on Old Main Street. If it's your first time, try booth 1. It's in the bar area (to the right when you come in) and the furtherest booth (at the end) numbers are on the wall in brass. This is the famous booth & you will understand when you get the menu. Not one Elvis song played in the 2 hrs we were there drinking and eating (which I was glad of) but one of the BEST selections of upbeat oldies songs. I truly enjoyed every song & it just set the mood beautifully. 10 out of 10 guys! Wonderful experience - excellent staff & service, reasonably priced for such excellent food. I had the Blue Cheese Steak - it was PERFECT. Loved every bite! She had the tacos. Commented they were the best she's had in years. Drinks were strong but tasty. Terrific night all around. Check this place out! It's an experience worth coming out for. Didn't expect it to be this good. Super Impressed - says a lot about the management when a place is run so well. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening - we'll be back!!! So I'm back 5 days later ordering the blue cheese steak again - best I've had in years... More pics...

Love this spot. Been coming here since the early 80's. The lady who owned the spot was super nice and treated you like family. I have lots of good memories here. Elvis memorabilia everywhere. The food is great. We usually always get the cheese chips for starter. The salsa is awesome. I think they used green chilies in it. It was different than most salsas. The rice and beans are really good. You can pretty much order anything from here and be satisfied. I remember the Albondigas soup being really good too. The waiters are super nice and friendly. They have the Strawberry Festival right down the street. Ill come in here to get off my feet and get cool and to have some lunch. Hopefully they will be around for many more years!

Was in the area and hungry! Found this place with good reviews so came on by. Menu isn’t huge at all which is unique. I ordered the combo plate of shredded beef taco with chile verde enchilada with extra green onions. My son ordered the quesadilla with chicken. Everything was excellent! They followers through with the extra onions and the quesadilla had a ton of yummy chicken in it. The chips and salsa were good. Salsa comes with nopales in it. I personally like more onions and chunkier salsa but it was still poured all over my food 🤣 good service and tons to look at!

Good service for below average Mexican food. All of our servers were great, even with COVID regulations in place, however the food did not match the service. The chicken enchiladas were moist, which was the only saving grace for their food. There was little to no seasoning in our dishes and it was as though the chefs had never heard of salt.

While the ambiance of the restaurant was fun and great for Elvis enthusiasts, I would not recommend coming for an authentic Mexican meal. My partner and I had margaritas, one on the rocks and one frozen, and it was clear that both drinks were not fresh. The drinks tasted as though they were made with margarita mix with a shot of tequila poured in.

Born and raised in Texas, I may have higher standards for Hispanic cuisine, however this restaurant provides a poor representation of Mexican culture. After viewing pictures posted of the restaurant, we hoped to get a little taste of home while on a road trip and were significantly disappointed. Upon closer inspection of the reviews on Google, it is obvious that there are fake submissions with 5 star ratings. Take a look at the highly rated reviews and you will know what I mean. Next time, we will remember to read the reviews and not only...

Great vibe!!! Wait until you see all the Elvis memorabilia. Wow. This is like an Elvis museum. Very eclectic collection of the one and only, Elvis Presley.

Oh, they also have karaoke.

I met the General Manager of this special restaurant bar. Restaurant serves until 10pm and the bar lounge is open until 2am. The GM was very nice; I enjoyed our conversation and he gave me a nice Azteca pen (very good for me as I am a writer). The employees are all very well mannered and ready to serve.

Old Town Garden Grove is a very special area, which they are taking very good care of. This area still preserves an appreciation for those who are visiting, shopping and dining. The area has ample parking and it is all free, no meters here. I love that point, I love it.

Have a great time at Azteca Restaurant and Lounge. Make sure you have time to visit other cool places nearby. Friday night they offer a street show of super cool Classic Cars and offer a lottery for prizes to visitors (I really enjoyed the show and the crowd).

I hope this review helps you!
