NEW sugarcane and banh mi spot right next to Rodeo39! Best of both worlds! I visited during their Soft Opening.

Parking: There is a large parking lot. Weekends can be difficult to find a spot. Weekdays are a hit or miss.

Ambiance/Environment: They have small space with cute wall decor and limited amount of indoor seating. There is a photo opportunity wall with two swings on the right side! Very clean inside. I like that you can see the sugarcane drinks being made behind the counter.

Service: Everyone was nice, quick, and efficient! Throughput didn't take long after ordering. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. She was absolutely sweet!

Food & Drinks:

1. Rodeo Banh Mi - This was recommended to me. Wow .. their banh mi's are HUGE and PACKED! The baguette was perfectly toasted, and it was filled with cha lua, cold meats, pickled veggies, and crispy pork. This banh mi can be split between 2 people. I was only able to finish half, but I really enjoyed this!

2. Tiramisu Cold Foam - I'm a crackhead for caffeine, so of course I had to try their coffee. I was informed their coffee contains sugarcane with Vietnamese coffee pour over and topped with flavored foam. This was sooo good! Perfect balance of sweet & strong. The coffee texture felt light and tasted strong! The foam was thick and had tiramisu flavors!

3. Strawberry Matcha Latte - I also wanted to try their non-coffee drinks. I was curious what type of matcha they use. I was informed they only use ceremonial grade matcha. The layers were aesthetic. The strawberry bits on the bottom were fresh, and the matcha was def high quality.

4. Sugarcane Kumquat Foam - Their sugarcane is FRESH! This was very refreshing after eating the banh mi! It had notes of citrus flavors. I really enjoyed this drink.

5. Coconut Sugarcane - This is the perfect drink for those who love coconut and sugarcane! Equal balance of both. The coconut bits on top were enjoyable.

Pricing: These are average prices for banh mis and drinks nowadays $$$. Inflation at its finest. Will definitely be back for more sugarcane...

35 minutes wait for banh mi & latte!!! Hmmm 🤔 so don't come here hungry (or you may be hangry lol) and unless you have at least an hour lunch. The Indian looking guy even forgot my order- I had to remind him after 15 min seeing others got their drink before me. It was faster last time with the girl 10 min. So would I come here again? Probably Not or only if it's the girl and/or I don't feel like driving a bit further to get similar foods elsewhere where they never forget my order or take over 30min. We only have 30 min lunch & this supposed to be lunch time noon and fast food.. not cooking anything. And not that busy at all ! The ube matcha latte drink had some slight artificial aftertaste also I didn't like-I don't think it's fresh ube. I've had worse ube latte but also had better. So this is middle compromise if you have ube cravings. It has potential to be 5/5 stars but mediocre-bad service, forgetting my order is my big pet peeve.. don't waste my time!! We stopped by to check out the soft opening of this spot and we're in love!

The staff welcomed us in and gave us the highlights of their menu. They have several types of drinks available - Vietnamese coffee, sugarcane and coconut drinks with a variety of whip toppings and addins like boba and jellies. The selection of banh mi is impressive too, with various meat and veggies. We love that it's got a bright aesthetic inside so perfect for photos too.

They juice the sugarcane fresh to order and it's so refreshing. All the natural ingredients just really shine through here. Even the pickles they use on the banh mi are so good I wish they'd sell those to go too 🤣 The baguettes they use give the perfect bread to topping ratio too, with such a nice crunchy and chewy balance.

We'll have to go back to try more after their grand opening in the...
