I wanted to share this as this was repetitive treatment I got here which I care about after spending time and money. The staff is busy and not polite. They ask or shout while they ask. I ordered Falafel wrap and my friend ordered chicken wrap. After 10-12 min of being there we checked by going back to the counter that when our food arrives, they said next is ours. When we got the dishes they were cold to hand, so they may be sitting there at the desk where the cook puts things together for a while instead of being on our lunch tables. My dish is supposed to come with light green chutni/sauce but they did not give it so I asked for it. They gave me a small cup which i thought was not sufficient for me. All other stuff in the plate is dry so that green sauce comes to my help and i get something wet to swallow my bite. I asked can I get more then the staff was almost mad at me and gave me a stern look and even told me that costs 50 cents, to which i said thats fine I can pay but i may need it. Then he said take it as it is and i dont need to pay. This experience kind of threatened me to not spend my time and money here again in this restaurant and tell my co-worked about it so they dont need to go thru similar experience. Thus one restaurant got deleted from list, i hope you do your own analysis but I have seen this kind of rough behavior in this restaurant a few times in this 4 yrs that i have been here. Thnx and I know that business serves customers not scare them. To do that thing you have fields called wrestling or boxing not a restaurant business where you are supposed to 'serve' people. Also I encourage the staff person to write about me, if I acted in a way that made him to behave this way so as to be...
Read moreI found this place because I really wanted Mediterranean food, it was very hard to find for me because the only lights outside or just this very dim green strip,
I waited about 15 to 20 minutes (I recomend calling ahead) for my food which seemed like an eternity but it was so worth it, I order the number 10 with two beef skewers and gyro meat, then I add a salmon skewer and it is my favorite place to eat in Long Beach as far as Greek or Mediterranean food is concerned, well I guess this location is in Torrance, they always put plenty of the green sauce and yogurt sauce, and all the food you see in the pictures came to 20 bucks which is incredible!! , I highly recommend calling your order in and giving them at least 20 minutes to prepare the food , it is well worth the wait and seems like a healthy choice for dining out...
Read moreIf you're driving it's easy to miss this place, the building is a bit camouflaged, but they have parking next to the restaurant. Staff is super friendly, and of course the food is great! Love their potatoes (which they are known for).
The chicken I had in my wrap was a little dry, and so was the wrap pita, but if you put a little green sauce on it, it's all fine!
Lots of covered patio seating, from the outside it doesnt look that big, but actually this restaurant is pretty spacious. There are a lot of cool lights in the seating area, which I like!
The setup is a little weird, because they added the patio/seating after, so you have to walk in to the very back first, to order from their "main" storefront. You can order for there, and they have reusable cutlery for non-takeout so you dont...
