Stoke Salad — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I’m leaving one star because of the security at Stoke Salad. I come here during business hours, park legally, visit one of the restaurants — and yet get approached and questioned like I did something wrong. The security guard asked me what I was doing there and even said he saw me “yesterday too.” Yes, I was here yesterday — because I actually spend money at the businesses here. If you don’t want returning customers, just say so. I don’t come to The Enclave to be interrogated or humiliated by someone who has no right to question me. It’s completely unacceptable. I’m addressing this directly to the management and the owners of the restaurants here — if you want people to feel comfortable and keep coming back, you might want to rethink who you hire...

Stoke salad had a soft opening today at the enclave and I was lucky enough to try their wonderful Curl Curl bowl with chicken. . It was so delicious and definitely not your usual heavy type of rice bowl.. The flavors were light and bright, with an amazing green curry lime dressing . The pineapple and green papaya added so much flavor, along with the other veggies and toppings. I can’t wait to come back and try all their other salads and bowls. The Enclave has a bunch of food places, but if you want something that is delicious, healthy, and “clean” then Stoke Salad is easily the pick. It’s an Australian / SE Asian fusion menu. Every dish is named after an Aussie place. I got the Barrenjoey salad, which had chicken, noodles, edamame, ginger and lime. You can get vegetarian options (tofu)if that’s your thing.
