There were many things that weren't great about this Freddie's. The parking is awkward with big red poles without parking bumpers to keep cars from hitting the red poles.
As we walked inside, the floor was sticky & wet from the drink station near the door. There were very bright spotlights causing a glare making it difficult to see the menu.
My husband went into the men's bathroom & it was disgustingly dirty with no paper towels to dry hands. He stopped & told a male employee that there weren't any towels, but after going back to wash up after our meal, found there still weren't any towels. He saw the same employee & mentioned the lack of towels again. The employee told him he "ain't got around to stocking them". Which was surprising since there weren't many customers that had come inside & all the employees seemed to have plenty of time to stand & goof around.
It took quite awhile to get our meals which tasted okay, but were a little skimpy for the price. Of course the music was so loud we couldn't hold a conversation with each other when we were sitting at the table. When I went back to order a shake, the manager & 2 other employees wouldn't even acknowledge me at the counter & promptly disappeared behind a wall rather than looking to see that i was waiting there. Then, even though there wasn't anyone there but us inside the restaurant, it took awhile for the shake.
As we were leaving, I asked for a dome lid for my shake & saw what the food prep area looked like. It looked as though they hadn't cleaned in that area all day. It looked really disgusting.
Of course leaving the parking lot was tricky because as we headed out the way we came into the parking lot, there was a concrete triangle so you could only turn right out onto the street which was hard to see since it was dark outside, it's not well lit & the triangle didn't have reflective paint on it to be seen with the headlights. We narrowly missed hitting it & damaging our car.
All in all, a pretty disappointing experience, not at all like other Freddie's locations we've visited. Oh, & since your employees can't wear hair nets, I certainly hope their hair &...
Read moreSeems every other time we go to this freddys we either dont get the frys for my sons kids meal or we get the wrong size fry for our combo even though our receipt clearly has the upcharge for large and with it taking 30+ minutes to get through the lines its not worth driving back up to get it corrected
Edit 3-8-24 Been over a year since my original review and it has not gotten any better. Still every tike we get food whether it be drive thru, walking in or doordash we end up getting the wrong items or missing items entirely. Tonight was no different, ordered DD since my wife and I had a long day at work and wanted to be lazy and get some food delivered. DD end of things has always been decent but when we not only pay the delivery charge and the marked up menu prices I would expect to not have half my order missing/wrong. Missing my sons fries, missing my fries, my wife ordered cheese fries and received chili cheese fries. Ordered my burger with a minor added topping, got that added topping but half of what is supposed to come on it to begin with. No straws for our drinks. Gotta drive up there to get the missing items that I paid for (yes i know DD would refund me for it but we wanted our items) guess they are very short staffed with emergency hours posted on the door and not many customers for how it usually is dead inside but prep stuff everywhere. Took a good 5-10 minutes to get the missing fries. Fed up with this location will not be returning again anytime soon will continue to drive to olathe if we...
Read moreI am almost speechless with the kindness and exceptional service we received at Freddy's for lunch today. It's rare these days to find people in the service industry who genuinely care not only about their job, but the people they encounter along the way. Meya (I think that's her name) is one of those people. I came in with my 3 children today to "celebrate" getting through a tough school testing day and she met us with so much kindness. She had no idea what a rough morning we'd had aside from the heavy sigh I gave after placing my order. She was just so in tune with my body language that she just knew it had been a day. She upgraded my daughter's drink size at no charge and then walked over to our table and gifted us with ice cream sandwiches. My kids and I were speechless. My eyes swelled with tears as I told her that we so needed her kindness today. She shared that she was also having "one of those days" as she was missing her little one and she thought we just needed a little something. In a world where kindness and generosity seem to be taking a backseat, Meya is over here making Momma's weep with the love she shares with complete strangers. Whoever hired this sweet woman is doing something right and she needs a raise for spreading so much love and light in this...
