Gabby's Place — Restaurant in Gardner

My experience here was awful. We ordered a pickup and I asked for a special request of just two eggs Benedict without any of the sides, among other things. The lady on the phone, Kerry, was extremely rude and impatient. However I ordered regardless since I figured it was a stressful day. We went to pick it up and although Kerry assured she could do that special request on the phone, I got two eggs Benedict meals as opposed to just the two without the sides like I asked. Surprised, I told her there was a little mistake and reminded her of my order. Kerry made an incredibly huge deal about it, and began to go back and forth with me? Even though she said it would be fine on the phone? Finally, she ended the back and forth with “you’re crazy.” Appalled, I asked for her manager and she claimed she was the owner, though this is not true at all. She returned with my refund and started telling me to get out of the car. People seated outside heard her, as did my partner that came with me. I kept asking her the reason for me to leave my car after she gave me my refund, and she told me to leave my vehicle numerous times. She started approaching my car while telling me the same thing so we made a report. Police officer said she had no reason to act like this under a business and said who knows what she would do if we did get out of...

Horrible service ! What never go there again . Went around 10:30 for breakfast with my boyfriend and grandkids. Right off the bat the woman was rube . We were a party of 7 and she said “well you can’t all sit together “ which was obvious that we could see because there were tables of 4 We chose to sit outdoors which was fine Drinks were ordered no problem When it came time order she was rushing us. My boyfriend asked about the Ruben sandwich that was on the board . And he was told “ you can’t have that it’s too early . He was ok with that . Asked what was on it for future visits . She stated very rudely “ I don’t have time to go through that I need to take your order . I am to busy for this ! My daughter is a server and would never talk to people like that . And the even sadder part is I think she was the owner . If she wants to keep her doors open she should probably be a little nicer . You don’t treat people that was because you are busy . Because if you keep treating people that way your doors will close and busy won’t mean anything then ! We will...

Cute little hole in the wall place. They're currently NOT offering outdoor seating, which is a shame, because I enjoyed it when they did (Covid thing). Small diner- counter space for maybe 9; about 6 tables that can sit 4; 1-2 smaller tables for 2? This is the kind of place where the locals hang out, "where everybody knows your name"....During the week, there's only 1 waite staff. Maybe 2 on the busier weekends.
