If you want service done right this isn’t the place to go at all!!! Ordered online for inside pickup. Girl at ToGo register was too busy in a long conversation instead of getting several orders out so when we finally got our order home it ended up being lukewarm and made wrong. When you order a burger well done with certain toppings on it then those things should be honored but it wasn’t at all. Then for the price you pay for an online app of bread and cheese (brew pub pretzels) you should have an actual serving of the cheese in the ToGo cup instead of just the bottom of the cup just barely lined with it. Also, when you are a vegetarian and order a grilled cheese the top view in the container should look the same as the underside of the sandwich, but not mine…instead I picked it up and it was full of little pieces of bacon bits and God only knows what else from the cooktop that obviously wasn’t cleaned before my sandwich was cooked which isn’t supposed to happen at all. The cooktop is supposed to be cleaned (a metal scrapper run over the entire surface) each time someone’s food is made and when done properly everything does come off the cooktop and doesn’t transfer to other people’s food then. Then when I called to speak to the manager (Steven/Stephen) about the issues we found when we opened our sealed bags at home, he was more concerned about lecturing me on the proper way to order through the website (which I did in the first place) and also was more concerned about lecturing me on giving him respect due to the hungry people in the background of my call being upset with his lack of concern with wanting to really do anything to fix the issues. His fix was a half price refund for the pretzel app…yes because I so want to pay half price for salted bread that I can’t dip in cheese because they barely put any in there to do so, and half price for the burger that my son couldn’t even eat because he eats cooked food and to him even a little bit of pink in a burger is raw food. So I’m to pay for things we couldn’t even eat that are in the trash then…yes Steven/Stephen those are some excellent managerial and math skills you have there. Almost our entire meal went in the trash but yes let’s lecture the customer about respect right because that’s what I thought I was paying for when I ordered from your business Steven/Stephen! So, this location knows nothing about food or respect and $41.05 may not be a lot to some but take it out of your wallet or purse and put it right in your trash can and I’m sure it will look like a lot in there then because it sure does to us right now. Had an even worse experience here a couple months ago dining in as well, thought they might have gotten it together by now by I guess not…that experience was so bad that others around us were getting up and walking out mid meals and we almost did as well. Everything we ordered they were either out of or when it came to the table it wasn’t anything like it was supposed to be. For example, my daughter ordered a strawberry balsamic salad and there were no strawberries in it, half of the other items that come in it were missing too, and they brought here Italian dressing out with it. When she asked for the balsamic dressing that comes with it they had no idea what she was talking about then instead of finding out, the waitress in training got her trainer who came over and told us that it is the dressing it comes with…umm last time I checked balsamic vinegar dressing is dark colored not a clear to light yellow color so nope Italian dressing isn’t balsamic dressing. People were just too lazy to do their jobs and the kitchen staff don’t get me started on the wait times for the food then. Half our table of 4 was finished eating apps and full meals before the other half of the table even got their apps or meals an hour and a half later still. Read moreI moved into a new home near this location and I was so excited to learn that Applebees was right up the street! We were in the process of moving so we decided on Applebees verse pizza. When we got back to the house, we were missing two items. My daughter called to inform them, but the lady kept telling her to hold then hang up on her. We drove back and my daughter continued to try to get through. When we were almost there, the girl finally answered, with an attitude, and got the manager. The manager apologized and said she would get it ready right away. My daughter informed her that we would wait in the curbside pick up. There was a gentleman waiting inside for his order when we arrived and another young man went inside a short time later. We waited about another 15 minutes, still no order! I then went inside to see three employees just laughing and talking amongst themselves. One of the employees, not the hostess, asked me how he could help. I explained that I was there to pickup my order that was missing and had been waiting outside for 15 minutes. They young man told her that the order was next to her, the manager had brought it up to her and told her it was for us. She would not respond, she would not even exchange eye contact with me. He then repeated himself, she still would not respond or even look at me to engage in any sort of conversation. The young man waiting for his order then repeated what the other employee was trying to tell her. She said, " I know" in a snobby tone, reached out and handed me the bags, STILL would not even look at me or communicate with me. Read moreOverall, i enjoy eating at most Applebees. However, recently we went to dine in at the one in Garfield Heights, Ohio. I saw 1 or 2 tables that had people sitting there and all other tables were open. Bar had no one there as far as patrons or a stationed worked. When i came in I told hostess it was for 2 adults and waa told it would be a 15 min wait. I had asked how that was since it looked so empty inside. The hostess told me that they were short handed and there was only 1 server. I told her I guess we will wait but that i wasn't happy since it looked so empty inside. She then told me it looks like someone left and she will clean off table and seat us there. It took her about 5 or 10 min to do that and i didn't really understand why since it was so dead inside. When we finally got seated she urged us to use menu that we would access on our phone they a bar code app. I didn't have app but probably could easily download but I preferred to use an actual menu. She replied "oh you don't have cell phones?" She knew we did since they were both on table. We just told her we feel better looking at actual menus. Reluctantly she went back and gave us 1 to share. If it had been busy I would understand that they may be short on menus but for whatever reason she said we could share that one. Our server was good, though, and food didn't take too long so that was nice. I just feel they need more staff and friendlier more helpful ones.
