Jamaica's Drumpon Jerk — Restaurant in Garfield Heights

Ordered this through urber eats was skeptical because it's urber eats and I never had Jamaican food before . However I had no reason to be skeptical. I ordered a medium goat with rice and it came with a side of cabbage and I also ordered a side of Jamaican greens. The goat was cooked to perfection melt in your mouth and fall off the bone buttery goodness. The rice was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The cabbage was just as flavorful , wish I ordered more of that instead of Jamaican greens. Don't get me wrong the greens were flavorful and cooked to perfection but I didn't like the seasoning but that's just me being picky. My only complaint would be is the container it comes in because the delivery person tipped my food and all the juices from the meat were in bottom of the bag. Also beware the portion sizes are huge . I ate half of what I was given and it looks as if there's still a whole meal in there. Went for the first time yesterday close to closing and was treated very kindly and the gentleman who took my order was very patient with me (I didn't know what I wanted lol) I tried the small order of stew chicken which comes with rice and cabbage (and it is a nice portion for the price). Everything was DELICIOUS 👌 The rice was not dried out or undercooked, the cabbage was perfectly cooked, very flavorful with some delicious pieces of carrots in it 😊 and the chicken was soooo tender, meat falling off the bone 😋 I am definitely going back soon. Looking forward to trying the jerk chicken and plantains and everything else they have on the menu. The flavor is definitely there. This was a Uber Eats order. I ordered the oxtails and the curry shrimp, The oxtails were Well seasoned. The curry shrimp was very good. I like the fact that they clean their shrimp. I also got a side of greens. They were OK. I also got the Jerk chicken pasta, which the flavor was there however it did not look like the picture on Uber Eats.

Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. The only thing I would say is they need to work on the presentation when I got the food it was in a grocery bag with the greens on top and the green juice leaked down to all the items on the bottom.

Also, the carryout containers did not hold heat so they were very hot on the bottom.
