Went to this establishment (due to power outage) last night to pickup a online ordered placed via Wendy's mobile app. The confirmation of ordered advised me with the information I needed to provide to the restaurant upon my arrival. I arrived and after being in the drive thru for a significant amount of time (probably because it seemed that half of the staff was outside on a smoke break), I finally reach the window. Placed an additional order, and then gave my information for the online order. The gentleman at the window says, "Oh you knew to place your order before giving your doordash order." I was using a promotion from the app, and so when I went to the window to pay, I presented it. The gentleman scanned the code and the price he was asking for me to pay did not match what I expected to pay based on the promotion. The gentleman was asked about it, his response was, " I can scan it again, but it only took off .40, and I don't have anything to do with what it is supposed to be, I don't have no control over that." He scanned it again, and the correct total was then provided to me. I paid. Got my food, and the temperature on one burger was lukewarm, and the other cold. I being nice, because there was a line, only asked him to remake the cold burger because again at home, there is no power. He took the sandwich and said, "I don't got time for this." He came back with the "new" sandwich, and I asked for a manager. He slammed the window. Then another man appeared, and swung open the window and said, "How can I help you?" I said, "You need to speak to your team members, and get them to be more respectable, and to provide better customer service." He said, "I can't get nobody to do nothing." I responded, "Clearly, but your the manager." I asked for the store manager/DM's information. He yelled out a females name, and said, "Call tomorrow." When I asked his name, he said, "I can't give you that." Then he shut the window in my face. The icing on the cake for me was not only was the original male rep rude, he was wearing a satin bonnet, but hey I guess the upside was it was atleast black in color (so maybe it's still considered uniform 😅). I have tried to call the manager a few times today, and I continue to get a voicemail. I will continue my efforts until resolved. This place needs to be cleaned out, new people hired, and training provided on how to provide a better customer experience for the people that keep them employed in this rough...
Read moreThis is the best Wendy's I've been to. I used to go to the one on Broadway Ave but it is horrible and they don't take credit cards. This one is the next closest so I usually stop at the Broadway Wendy's first, make a huge order then go to pay with a card so I can't pay for it and then I will drive to this Wendy's and put in my actual order.
The workers here are a lot nicer, more professional (although the last time I went there were a couple of ghetto employees and a ghetto manager too, so I think it's about time to go to a location a bit further away from the ghetto's of Cleveland) and the restaurant was pretty clean. Most of the time the workers are great, professional and can interact with customers without using slang or ghetto-speak which is great. They also wear their uniforms a lot cleaner than the Broadway location where you are apt to find a guy with paint all over his pants that are sagging to his knees with his shirt untucked and wrinkled up with his ball cap on backwards and a phone in his hand texting and carrying on a conversation with another employee while also providing "great customer service" to...
Read moreTerrible Location! They need to go out of business. Staff has dry tones and terrible attitudes. I simple asked them to fix my order which they messed up and they acted as if I should just take what they gave me. I ordered a medium meal, I was given a very small drink cup which could have been given to a baby. I was told that they had no more medium cups so I had to take the extremely small value cup. Why wasn’t I told that when I ordered and was charged for a medium. Then she got an attitude and said she wasn’t going to give out a large because of management. I explained to them what sense does it make for me to be charged for a medium then given a value size because they didn’t have the correct cup. If that’s the case give me my money back or a bigger cup. How do you get an attitude about something that I’m paying for??! If the plan wasn’t to cheat me then why would you not tell me there were no medium cups when I ordered and they could not give me a large instead. They also forgot my fry and acted as if I had to deal with it. They need to be...
