Pazza Luna Restaurant & Pizzeria — Restaurant in Garfield

I rarely review restaurants unless they are exceptional....or I think a place is much better or much worse than their average Google review. I was very hungry driving home after flying back home all day from Salt Lake City and not having a real meal all day. I Googled "Italian restaurants near me". I always choose restaurants that are 4.5 or higher. This restaurant came up as a 4.5. The pizza was average. Then I ordered penne with broccoli and garlic and oil, extra broccoli and extra garlic, with sautéed chicken. Most New York Italian restaurants do this well. It came with a nasty garlic sauce, no chunks of garlic in sight, and I'm 99% sure not made with olive oil. Was just not good. Was like a salty garlic sauce. Garlic powder instead of fresh garlic? Staff seems to be Latino and that's 1000% fine if they learn how to make good NY / NJ Italian food under NY / NJ Italians...Many great Italian restaurants have great Latino cooks...but this very much seemed like Latino Italian food. It was fair but it's no 4.5 so I had to do my part to bring their average review closer to what it should be. If I didn't make an effort to find a very good place and it wasn't very good I'd be OK with that and leave it alone, but I felt their average score was way off the mark. A 3.0 would be between accurate...

I love this place and their food is great, we actually order from work all the time. But right now I'm pregnant, starving and outraged that I placed an order at 11 AM for 2 salads and it's now 12:42 PM and the food isn't here. When I called, the woman said he should've been here already. I wasted my lunch break waiting on this food that will most likely be soggy when it finally arrives. Definitely not ordering from here for a long time. And no I'm not far away, we're in Passaic about 7 minutes from the restaurant. *Edited to add, now that I'm not pregnant- after ordering many more times since then, food is still super slow. Horrible horrible service with these people. My wife goes and picks up our dinner only to come back home and notice one of the orders were messed up. She had to drive all the way back to exchange the order that they messed up and literally nothing given in return. Seriously you guys messed up and literally can’t even accommodate your customer who has to drive all the way back to the place for a screw up on your end. Make matters worst my penne broccoli order (which they messed up) literally had little to no broccoli at all in it as they obviously rushed this out.
