Dollar General — Local services in Garfield

The young guy with glasses was very unprofessional. When I walked in to the store there was no one at the register, a lady called for someone and a boy with glasses came. I went to get stuff and when I was ready I went to the register and was standing in line (there were no people in front of me) the boy simply left. A lady that was leaving called out that there’s customers, waited for him to come and finally when he did, he asked if I am ready to pay or something like that and i said ofcourse I have been waiting for about 5 min and he said no it wasn’t that long. I said yes it was, I was in line when you left and I am standing with kids. His comment was „then you shouldn’t have kids” I don’t think that’s appropriate from an employee to say to a customer, even if a customer is annoyed for waiting, a simple smile with I’m sorry for the wait would...

This would be my first and last experience at this location. I bought storage bin and some other stuff from this location and decided to exchange the size, during checkout the African American ladies were so rude and nasty I decided to just return everything and leave. Some other people were behind me at the line she was screaming at them to stand otherside coz she cant see them. All workers were very disrespectful and no manner to talk to a human. I like stopping at this Dollar General every now and then. It is a clean store and a friendly one. From all my visits from time to time, the store has plenty on its shelves so there are lots to buy from and choose from. The prices are pretty reasonable as well.
