82 Oak Bar & Bistro — Restaurant in Garfield

Tried out this spot a few nights ago and fell in LOVE. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively and it’s a great vibe for unwinding after work or meeting up with friends for a fun night out. What topped it all off for me was the food & drinks. My boyfriend & I love ordering a few things and sharing, so we ordered the firecracker shrimp, calamari, spicy rigatoni with chicken, and steak tacos. Everything was generously portioned and the taste was spot on. For the drinks I highly recommend the honey deuce, watermelon fields, and the lunar drip. May have ordered one too many of the watermelon fields, but they were just so damn good! Will definitely be a weekly date...

I held a birthday party here && it couldn’t have been better. The music was awesome, decorated great, the drinks were delicious, and the service was top notch. The manager Mike made me feel like I was the only birthday there, very attentive, and went above and beyond for me and my party. I gave five stars because a time was haddddd. The only thing I will say is that they advertise drink specials but most of my party was charged full price, could be because servers were training or a newish place but either way the drinks were worth the full price anyway! I went there to order some food to take home. Ordered the cheeseburger sliders with cheddar cheese, bacon, and caramelized onions. Asked for it medium well. It was cooked to perfection. Not dry at all. Very moist and well cooked. The fries were also crisp and soft inside. While I waited for my food I had a beer and the atmosphere was very nice and classy.

They also have a nice room in the back which is good for private events. Can't wait to go there for football Sunday's with the fellas.
