Burger Land — Restaurant in Garland

I came here for lunch on a Friday around 1:00pm. Easy access was from two thoroughfares and there was ample parking. On this Friday the establishment wasn't crowded so there was immediate service. According to the order taker the number one selling burger is the "Tornado Burger" a fresh 100% Angus beef patty. I'm told the beef is fresh, never frozen. This was my choice today as a "combo" which came with a drink and real cut potato french fries. After a short wait it was ready for my takeout. The patty didn't look like it had been machine made and it had been cooked with the cheese placed on it to melt. Also, in place were sliced bacon, mushrooms, sliced jalapenos and bell pepper, all grilled!! It came with chopped lettuce, sliced tomato, pickle slices, a hickory sauce and other sauces. This burger is superb!!

I’m a otr truck driver and like to visit local own places and give them my money. The lady at the register is in a hurry for no reason. She impatient and in a hurry to write your order and I had to repeat it to get it right. Mind you there is nobody behind me. Ordered one meal and one sandwich for my bf. She said I could not share my drink. First off all I paid for it! Second of all we both never finish a drink. I could see if I’m going for a refill. Then as I’m leaving comes to my table to say. I told you couldn’t share a drink! Well enough said. Now the cook gets 4 stars it was really a nice flavor burger. You could use a little update in your place but overall I enjoyed my meal. If I could rate it any higher I would! We stumbled across this place originally when in Garland for business. Ever since we find excuses every couple months to make the drive from Fort Worth to Garland just for this place alone.

Everything on the menu is delicious and made to order with fresh ingredients. We’ve yet to be disappointed with anything here. The couple that own the place are always so sweet, polite, and friendly. The establishment is quaint but clean and welcoming.

I love a good burger and try to find local burger joints everywhere I ago and this place is our favorite. We just keep coming back regardless of the drive. It’s definitely a hidden gem and worth trying if you’re in...
