Subway — Restaurant in Garland

This has to be the slowest Subway I've ever been to. Every lunch time they seem to run with only two people making sandwiches and then they take forever to do it. I'm still in line as I write this. 6 minutes just to order a sandwich with only one person in line in front of me. I've actually left the line to drive elsewhere when I see them going this slow. UPDATE: I came back to this restaurant because the other two subways near me are horrible. It was fine for the first couple of weeks until today 3/4/22. I stand in line behind some guy ordering three sandwiches with only one person there to make sandwiches. The owner is walking around behind the counter and knows that I'm standing there waiting. He weighs a lot of time until the lady is finally finished making the three sandwiches. While I'm waiting another person comes in behind me. The guy finally comes up to make my sandwich finally. The guy behind me has only been in line for a minute gets his sandwich made quicker and checks out. I waited 10 minutes in line to order my sandwich only I have people behind me get sped through. When I brought it up with the owner /manager (the guy making my sandwich) he was aloof and indignant. Never apologized and was combative. I walked right out of the store after he made the sandwich. All he had to say was I'm sorry about that and will do better next time. No he had to be argumentative about it. I don't know why the subways in this area suck...

Amending my review after going back there to ask for avocados on two of the three sandwiches I bought without extra charge due to them overcharging by two last week. Owner did not fuss with me about it and just agreed. Would have given a 5 if they had reached out to me instead of me taking initiation on this. This still is just a lunch time spot if you looking for something affordable, quick, and you're hungry.

This is the third time I've been here. They were slammed during afternoon lunch rush. The lines and wait is long. They have 3 staff members. I saw a small piece of hair on a provolone cheese, I should've said something. But it wasn't on my cheese, it was in the bin. I hope they notice it when they get through to it. Anyways, my complaint here is on my receipt. I ordered 3 sandwiches and only one avocado on one sandwich. The lady who made my sandwich rung me up for 3 smashed avocado instead of 1. So she charged me an extra $3.44 to my bill. I didn't notice this until I got to my car. They were already slammed and I had to get back to work so I didn't walk back in to complain. I hope it was just an honest mistake and not trained to add on hidden charges. I will leave this review until they reach back out to me and fix this. I already gave them a call but no one picked up. I will save receipt for next time. I'll give them another chance in case it is an honest mistake, only if they are willing to resolve this. It's an...

There’s a Hispanic gay dude with curly hair that is rude as hell. Comes up to the counter and looks me dead in my face without saying a word. I ask him if he’s ready to take my order and he gives me an attitude saying “ are you ready? “ I proceed to order and disregard his attitude but then he rips my bread (this was obviously intentional) and I’m like ok? So I get upset and let my friend order first and he tells me that I must order first and I was like I’m going to let my friend order first so I could cool down. He said that he wasn’t going to do that since it was my bread and I let him know my friend would like the same type of bread. I also let him know that my friend only spoke Spanish and asked him if he spoke Spanish. He answered in English with “ yes I speak English” I was like my question was if you spoke Spanish. He said “ well I speak both “ and I was already irritated by his attitude. I let him know “ I don’t like your attitude “ and he storms off like a child???? Okay like how old are you??
