A few weeks ago, I saw a car on carguru site, I reached out to this dealership, and they scheduled a day for a test drive for me. I met with the receptionist that directed me to OC. I had a discussion about the car, he told me things to do in order to get financing. The next day I called him to know what the payments will be and he gave me an outrageous Apr that did not make sense to me. He told me that he did not have much to work it, that he only saw one credit card on my name which is not enough for him. He said that almost every body he tried with rejected me. The trade in I wanted to do, he offered only $500 and told me that I have a 13 years old car and should not expect anything much from it. As of that time my credit score was 736 ( now it's 747) and he got me Apr of 20%. I told him I wasn't going to do it because after I did the calculation of the payments, it was just outrageous for 11k car. He said that I'm not yet in the phase of recieving a lower percentage rate. Also he told me that my bank does not know anything about me which kinda made me sad. Out of curiosity, after a week, I went to the bank to know if there are information missing about me. I was shocked after the lady did auto loan right there, and before I could get to the house, I received an email that it was approved for 8.9 Apr. I now decided to go for another car since, I've been approved from the bank. I went back to this dealership and asked for a different car, the receptionist told me they moved it down to the other office down the road. She said I can go there to speak with the lady down there. I did not see the reason to speak to OC again since there is someone over there. I got there and met Jasmine, she was really nice to me. She even told me where to go sell my car and make good money from it which I did. This is because the owner said his lot is full. We concluded on the car. I checked the history of the car and discovered that the car has a record of one accident, meanwhile on carguru, it says 0 accident. This gave me a double mind, but after speaking with a friend, I decided to go for it. Due to the accident information, I declined the ridiculous dealership fee. Jasmine gave me the buyer's order and application for Texas title that I signed. This was on a Saturday evening. She told me that if I want to finish with her, that I should come back on Tuesday since she won't be there on Monday. I sent everything to my bank and finalised with the bank. They asked for some document, on Tuesday I called Jasmine to give her the email address to send the documents. She kept me on hold and later came back to tell me the car was sold on Monday and waiting delivery. This is a car we already concluded on and I was waiting for Tuesday to reach back to her. Before now, I signed up with carguru and receive emails on cars, so there I was at work and received another email from them, and I saw this car that was already sold according to them. At first, I thought maybe it's a mistake, but my colleague said No,and that she will call to confirm. She called, and OC was the one that picked the call to confirm that the car is actually still available with them. I and my colleague was surprised. Like make it make SENSE, the Lies, Deceit, and GREED all for...
Read moreI am deeply disappointed with the experience I had purchasing a used car from Keith Mccoy Autos. Two weeks into owning the car, I began to notice a troubling vibration in the steering wheel. Concerned, I promptly returned to the dealership, where they assured me they would address the issue with a wheel alignment. However, to my dismay, they insisted that I foot the bill for this seemingly routine repair. Reluctantly, I agreed, hoping it would resolve the problem. However, upon receiving the car back, it was immediately apparent that the issue persisted unchanged. Frustrated, I made repeated trips back to the dealership in hopes of rectifying the situation, only to find myself met with further disappointment as the problem remained unresolved. Growing increasingly exasperated, I decided to seek assistance elsewhere and took the car to Discount Tire, where a proper alignment finally put an end to the persistent vibration. It was disheartening to discover that the dealership's purported repair had been ineffective all along. Upon confronting the salesman, OC, regarding the matter, I was met with a defensive and unprofessional attitude. Instead of addressing my concerns with empathy and accountability, OC became confrontational and even resorted to rudeness. This lack of professionalism only served to exacerbate my frustration and disappointment. Adding insult to injury, I also experienced issues with the car's brake lights malfunctioning shortly after purchase. Despite bringing this to the dealership's attention, they offered to fix the problem at a "discounted" price, which I found to be entirely unacceptable given the short duration of time I had owned the vehicle. To make matters worse, it appears that OC's behavior may have been influenced by personal motives rather than a commitment to customer satisfaction. His inappropriate flirtations via text messages, which I had clearly rebuffed, seemed to coincide with his unprofessional conduct following my complaints. In summary, my experience with Keith Mccoy Autos has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. From ineffective repairs to unprofessional conduct and questionable motives, I am left with a sense of regret and disillusionment. I would strongly caution others against patronizing this dealership and urge them to seek a more reputable and customer-focused establishment for their...
Read moreEDITED 9/3 Peter called my husband asking him to get me to remove my review, Peter told him that I used nasty language and was hurting his employment. While I don’t know the state of his employment I never used any nasty language in my review. Again another example of the dishonesty of this place. Please do not contact us again.
I was out car shopping with my husband this weekend and found this place because they had a car listed on CARFAX that we were interested in. We called ahead to make sure they still had the car before we made the trip and Peter answered and said the car was going to sell so to come in quickly. We made it there looked at the car, the car needed an alignment, there were tears in the drivers seat and the car reeked of the previous owners bad habits. Peter assured us they could fix the odor, repair the seat and give the vehicle an alignment. We sat down to talk numbers and that’s when they hit you with the extra $1500 on top of the sale price because they are a wholesaler and give you the whole lecture. Not only that then he claims that the bank won’t allow them to sell the car at the actual listed price so he came back with an ever higher number. At first Peter seems very kind but when you start to question him his demeanor changes. This company seems very predatory and dishonest. You also are not a priority as a customer, Peter was bouncing between us and a few more people in an open room where other customers can hear all your business and your entire car deal. I’ve never experienced anything like that buying a car before. The longer we waited on Peter helping other people while we were literally sitting in the chairs at his desk the more turned off about the experience we got. Now reading all these reviews I know we dodged a bullet not buying here, now I also know why they make you sign a form stating you won’t sue them. Over heard that in someone else’s car deal that was happening in this room. We went else where and purchased a way better car with a better interest rate and no predatory pricing. Do not waste...
