This location has had a lot of construction and updating lately but it seems to finally be done-for now at least. This is a 24-hour location, drive-thru as well as dining, 7 days a week. Most of the staff are fast and friendly- the bad ones don't last very long. Lately, our orders have been correct more often than not but always check before leaving. Wrong orders were almost a guarantee just a couple months ago. There is always, seriously- ALWAYS a line. Don't make the mistake thinking it would be quicker to go inside and place a to-go order because the drive-thru line wraps all the way around the building. It's worse inside. The line reaches the door and snakes back around with everyone just kind of wandering because lines aren't clear. This is usually because there's usually only one register running inside. I can't remember the last time I saw both registers going. Then it's so loud and chaotic, it's difficult to hear when your order is called and I've seen people just walk up and grab what's up just because they're tired of waiting or whatever- it's chaos. The semi-double drive-thru is so poorly executed you have to wonder if anyone really thought that through. The second "lane" has been closed everytime I've been through lately but that's usually late at night. The problem here is it isn't two full lanes- the line splits to two ordering menus then merge back together just past the menu. So- you have people who erroneously believe that they can somehow jump the line by cutting off the person on the other side instead of alternating- which is how the orders are taken. When you cut off the other person, you mess up the flow for everyone behind and knock all orders out of sync. Given the barest of thought should make this obvious but that seems to be more than most can handle. McDonald's hasn't found a way to fix this so they just place cones to close the lane. Overall, the food and service is what you can expect from a decent McDonald's- hot, fast and available any time. Be prepared for a wait, though the staff is pretty competent and fast considering. Breakfast is still only available from like 6am to 11am and you cannot order anything off the lunch menu until straight up 11 according to their clock. If you plan to treat your kid and have lunch at school with them, you'll have to pick somewhere more flexible with the breakfast/lunch menus,...
Read moreI have eaten here about 15 times. While it's a typical McDonald's experience in many ways it differs from the "normal" in the following ways. Most, if not all employees speak Spanish. Not too big a problem, however it is big when many do not speak English and communication between you and them is very difficult. Especially when you have an issue. It once took me one register worker, a floor cleaner person, manager and a different, more important looking manager to resolve a problem where I never got one of my burgers. Only the big wig understood me and comped a new one... But... None said they were sorry. Or thank you. (See #5 below.) Lol. They take much longer to prepare your food than most other restaurants. I will often go here with my 3 kids (17 ,14 and 12) and we all order normal items with no specific changes that require the item to be prepared brand new and our food still takes forever. The kiosks rarely all work. If two work, one usually will not accept payment. They often will not give extra ketchup. You must request it by standing upfront and requesting. This process will often take more than 5 minutes as most employees ignore you. Every time I have eaten here I have never had an employee say thank you to me. I know that seems weird for me to remember, but it is part of customer service and makes you feel appreciated. I don't when I'm here.
You're probably wondering why I would continue to eat at this location. Great question. Basically, I get medicine filled at the Kroger in the McDonald's parking lot. I usually bring my kids with me and they like going for the adventure so we can see which of the top 5 problems continue to exist. So you see...it's like a game now. A sad, game of how not to treat customers. But...we try and find the joy with each other regardless of what's...
Read moreSo I gotta say this is not an emotional review as I have waited for over a year before deciding my review. I come here everyday with company and one of the reasons I love the location so much is because 90% of the time, they prep their nuggets and fries very well and I love how this place is set up. Now with the positive out of the way I must now put what this review is about. I have seen this place go through lots of changes and unfortunately with the loss of their previous manager for what ever reason she left, some things have definitely went down hill. For one while the place is clean most of the time the rare times it is dirty, it's pretty bad. Two, most of the people at the counter I have come across look like apart of their souls are nowhere to be found and I honestly don't think they're even looking for them but I guess it's because they're really young as the older ones still seem to have their souls in tact, so while them being young is probably the reason for them not really caring it's still not an excuse. Now for the last and most important part, the food. Usually food taste is pretty good and I don't really have a problem with it tasting like it hasn't left the trey for hours but with that said and this is the most important part, while I can't say everytime I can say most of the time something is wrong with the order like they just dont double check what they are putting on, leaving off or they just outright fold under pressure, I hope they get it down soon. I put this not for the customers but really hoping that management reads this and really does something to change how things are so thankyou for getting this far...
