Smith Spot BBQ — Restaurant in Garland

Personally I will not be returning . I've never entered a restaurant the first time where the owner literally standing in front of you and does not acknowledge your presence but as soon as someone walks in behind you he literally had so much to say like my money spends just as well as the next person . I ordered the potato with hot link and receive sausage that was not fully cooked when my husband called the lady on the register over to her she simply reply that's not hotlinks and walks away(duh) knowing the entire time I did not order the plain tasting sausage , finally comes back to the table and slides just the hotlinks on the table and walks away no im sorry for mistake or nothing at this point my husband and myself look at each other knowing that in any other establishment a whole new potato would have been brought out simply because the first one had the taste of the sausage I didn't order in it. We definitely will not be returning because our money spends anywhere and professionalism exist. Treat everyone the same! Oh my husband had the ribs they were delicious. Mr Smith in response to your remarks about my Review there is no reason for me to lie about what I ordered you know that and the lady that took my order know exactly what I ordered she repeated it to me so please don't get on here with that, Again the service was horrible and I will not go back and forth on here so simply DO Better! You said you allowed me to keep the sausage well look at your camera again you will see where I placed the sausage in a plate to be thrown away, so therefore I did not eat the sausage that you allowed me to have...

My wife and I we're looking for a new spot to try on a Friday when we stumbled across Smith Spot BBQ.

We ordered a 1/2 lb brisket, 1/2 lb links, 1/4 lb sausage, large Mac-n-Cheese, and a large BBQ beans....yes very Big Backish Behavior.

Everything was extremely flavorful, the brisket was tender and juicy, the links had just the right amount of smoke and flavor, the sausage like the brisket was also very tender.

The sides were enough to eat on their own. I couldn't decide if I like the beans or Mac-n-Cheese the most 🤷🏿‍♂️. The Mac-n-Cheese was velvety smooth with a rich cheesy flavor. Those beans, man listen. You could literally be allergic to beans and I bet you'd eat these beans....and it would be worfth...yes I said worfth it.

We did get peach cobbler but we were too full to try it. I'll have to update my review after I try it (tonight)... There's plenty of seating inside and outside on the patio. Nice ambiance and music playing while enjoying your food.

Lastly, the service was amazing Terrance and the young lady at the register were very welcoming, kind, and courteous. We honestly felt like family rather than customers...top tier indeed. My family and friends will definitely come back to visit and suggest anyone reading this meet us or...
