By far the worst McDonaldâs experience Iâve ever had.
My family and I were driving from Kentucky to Austin for a family event. Stopped at this McDonaldâs to get some dinner after driving all day.
We ordered our food at the kiosk, where we were told that our food would be brought to our table by someone. We chose a table and sat down. After sitting for a few minutes, we heard an order number being called, but as we were told it would be brought to our table, we paid it no mind.
After 15 minutes had passed, I told my husband that it was taking quite a while. He went up to the counter to ask about our food and it turned out that the number they had been calling for 10 minutes was ours. The problem? The girl was calling for order â143â when our receipt clearly said â742â. She just shoved the food into my husbands hands and said âhereâs your foodâ and walked away.
When unloading our food, I saw that they had given me the wrong sauce for my nuggets. I had asked for honey mustard and they gave me BBQ. I went up to ask for the correct sauce and they gave me attitude (but did give me the correct sauce.)
Next issue: we had ordered a happy meal for our son with a milk. While I had gone to get the correct sauce, my husband had opened the milk for our son and tasted it. It was completely rancid. Not slightly sour or off, completely rancid. I took the bottle back up to the counter. The manager gave me an orange juice in exchange (she was very nice).
As I sat back to eat, the manager on duty left to go home. As soon as she was out the door, the girl running the front of the store called out to close the lobby (it wasnât even 7 pm yet) and we heard someone in the back yell âNo!â in response.
They did fix the issues we had (being dine-in probably contributed to that), but the service was absolutely horrendous. Worst McDonaldâs ever (and Iâve eaten at a lot of different...
Read moreMcdees drive through is 24/7. However lobby hours says 6:00am. When I arrived it was after 6:20am. I have 3 children with me. The doors were locked to the lobby. ( There was already a sheriff inside sitting down eating btw.) I had to get an employee that was walking in to her shift to let me and my family inside. We ordered our food. We attempted to sit down in the lobby. There was a different employee cleaning the lobby. She told me. The lobby area was closed since she was cleaning. So we had to sit next to a different employee that was taking her break. When we finally sat down to eat. There was someone else that came up to try to come inside to the lobby area. No employee let them in. So being the nice citizen I am. I went to go let the gentleman in. Once I did. The lady cleaning suddenly yells at me. Sternly saying Do Not let anyone else inside. I barked back arguing with her stating the lobby to the place states 6:00am! After arguing with her I had to threaten her stating that Iâll leave a report and report this location since false advertising. She stopped arguing with me and left me alone. Not to mention the play area to the Mcdees weâre blocked off and did not open for my children to play. I didnât even attempt to ask about having this open.
I do not understand why people of the law gets special privileges (nothing against them) to come inside and have the right to eat. When citizens do not. Speaking of, an hour. A whole HOUR went by. Before the employee opens the lobby area to the public. Speaking of the employee cleaning was not even finished cleaning the lobby.
This is unacceptable. I will not take my children back to this Mcdees ever again. Sad to say this Mcdees is the closest Mcdees to my home as well.
Horrible! Do not recommend to come inside to the lobby to eat. Take it to go. No matter how long...
Read moreWILL BE CALLING CORPORATE. My significant other and I like to eat in places and talk for about and hour to and a hour and a half well recently there has been an increase in the homeless crowd at this McDonald's but they do not mess with people they simple sit there and charge their phone and be on about their business. This location is very discriminative my significant other and I were sitting down trying to figure out what to order as a lot of people do and 15 minutes pass and we are being yelled at by a Hispanic woman in a managers uniform saying we needed to buy something or get out we say okay and she proceeds to walk away. We then approached her and told her we understand she has a job to do and u can't just sit in the establishment but how she spoke to us was very rude and unprofessional she proceeded to yell about no loitering mind u we are regular customers come in daily and always purchase something so not understanding the hostility we asked for her name and she gave us a fake name then we left and here we are Saturday at 8am I placed an order and from the moment we walked in it was an issue just us being here the same manager told her GM we hadn't purchased anything and we in fact just did I did expressed concern to my partner about the treatment once again and the manager turned around and escalated a HUGE argument this lady needs to be fired and if corporate doesn't do something I will sue for discrimination against this establishment along with the assistant manager Ms Carol who told that manager my significant others personally information when my significant other worked there as a child which is completely ILLEGAL. AGAIN if corporate does nothing my lawyer will this is...
