Potbelly — Restaurant in Garland

" we don't use real bananas." So my son and myself are frequent customers at Potbelly. We always order shakes once the sandwich maker asks, " what can I get you?" He or she yells out loud what shakes to make . Last week , they made our sandwiches and at checkout , the shakes weren't even made. I cancelled them since our food was made. Well today I ordered shakes, one vanilla was made at checkout, the banana wasn't. One employee told the manager that was checking us out, " hey man , we don't have any bananas. " the manager said something under this breath and the employee pored something in milk, and a lot of cottage cheese looking substance. I told manager, that I ordered a banana shake. Manager said," we use banana purée." I said , " I've ate at so many potbellys , and they have always used real bananas. Manager said" you're wrong we don't use real bananas. " I said" well why did employee tell you, WE don't have bananas ." Manager was rude and we will no longer dine at this location again. Potbelly has great ingredients, but this manager was low class, and did not care about his job or the customers. I really hope something is done and someone be accountable for...

Visited this location on 4/24/24 at around 6:00 PM. There was no other customers in the store, one lady was leaving as I was walking in. There were 3 workers behind the counter. One of them was leaned over the counter on her cell phone. I walked down to the place where you order. At that point one of the female workers walked right past me to the back room, never saw here again. So I stood there for like 5 minutes. The 2 workers still visible never acknowledged me and neither were busy doing anything else. I moved around a bit hoping they would take notice, but in reality they had to to see me walk in. Once I got tired of standing there I started walking out. The male worker asked if I wanted a sandwich to which I replied I did but no one wanted to help me and I left. The other female worker was still leaned over the counter on her cell phone. Maybe neither of the 3 saw me even though I walked right in front of the counter where they were or maybe I've become invisible...who knows. Don't think I'll be going back if this is how little the staff cares you have to wonder how clean the place is and how good...

Potbelly garland food and atmosphere as usual is great. But their service towards DoorDash pick up is horrible.. they have a pick up station and everything well labeled but still on April 11th 12:30 pm. The lady placing the orders on the pick up station told me . “You can’t just grab those and go, you need to confirm with us” my response was “ normally this is what we do we just look for the right name and grab it” she said “we have had few mishaps”

Well if y’all had mishaps then y’all should stop putting a pick up station and place it near the counter and give it to us straight, stop humiliating people.

I will never go to this location if this continues. Just expressed my concern don’t wanted to email it or see the manager at that location at that time.
