Starbucks — Restaurant in Garland

Been coming here the past few months in the mornings and love finding a little side table to read and study. I get a iced brew coffee which I never drank coffee before but have been doing so now consistently . I have tried other starbucks and other coffee shops around the garland, rowlett, and sachse area but have been coming here as everything they do is CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT! Working in retail, it can be easy to develop a hardened heart to people , but I'm blown away from their professionalism, customer service, attention to detail during extremely busy and slower times . From their store manager to everyone on their staff excels in customer service and all work hard. I hope they get the recognition they deserve and realize too how much it can change/impact someone's day with the compassion they show their customers! ...

One of the only Starbucks that has opened the dining room in my area. Almost every time I've stopped here, there's only one barista making drinks and one taking orders no matter how many happen to be on staff or how busy this location is at the time. Drinks are 50/50 chance they'll be made to order, afternoon staff is the most unfriendly, the slowest and the most likely to get your order wrong. Even when using the mobile app to order ahead, the baristas do not follow the customizations on the printed label, they will make the standard recipe despite you being charged for the customizations. They will remake it, if you have the time to wait another 20 minutes and inclination to deal with their attitude; even then, don't order "extra" anything- you won't get it. Ever. I'm giving 5 stars because while going to the mall from Dallas I have not found a more helpful and sweet Starbucks to be at. Usually most Starbucks employees are very kind but there were 3 younge Employees in particular that were just the sweetest! They answered every question and gave so many suggestions, and also incredibly patient. I wish I got their names! The Frappuccino they made for me was so good😭😭 I had given up on Starbucks for many reasons but I now have a new go to drink and will be finding myself coming back again!
