Overpriced bacon cheeseburger, especially when you don't get any bacon.
So the logo on the receipt says "remarkable food • excessive care • finest ingredients". Not even close. Service was really slow. We had an extended wait for our takeout order to be prepared. Fries were cold. How do you have cold fries at 6 pm? My burger was supposed to be cooked medium. It might have been a little on the rare side of medium which doesn't bother me, but it still wound up dry. How do you cook a medium burger dry? Appeared to be 9nly a 1/3 lb patty. I thought one of these guys claims to fame was that they used 1/2 lb patties. 😕 Remarkable food? Nope.
If you look at my receipt, you can see my order was "quality checked" by JT. JT managed to miss a bacon cheeseburger with no bacon on it. Not the hardest thing on earth to spot. Excessive care? Nope. If JT is wondering why he's not making $15 an hour, he might want to look at his quality of work.
Freshest ingredients? Well, nothing was spoiled if that's what they mean. I really can't tell you if the bacon is any good because I didn't get any.
There's a Whataburger just up the road. Skip...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious! Have lived 10 years in Wylie and finally stopped in, and I'm so glad I did. Unfortunately, the initial customer service interaction was bad. The young female with the brown San Diego hoodie was not friendly. She didn't greet us when we walked in, and I could tell she didn't want to be there. We sat at the bar, contemplating whether to leave or stay, but thankfully, the female manager approached us, and because of her friendly interaction, we decided to stay. The burgers are fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. You have options for the bun: wheat, sourdough, regular or texas toast. I love that! The onion rings are amazing! Oh, and the sweet potato fries are the best. We really enjoyed sitting at the bar. But there's other sitting available away from the bar if you prefer that. These hamburgers are top quality and delicious! I'm very impressed with this place. Needless to say, I'll be a returning customer 😃 and hopefully, the young female will have the opportunity to improve on her customer service skills. Come check it out and have your...
Read moreThe family needed to have something to eat and the normal call was burgers daaad. So the GPS said let it be Scotty P's. The restaurant is located in a strip mall with many different establishments so the parking lot is busy something to look for if you have small kids like we do. The establishment has a one way in and one way out for COVID reasons. As you view the menu, its a hand craft burger and with a family of 5 it yells expensive. The booths were good for a family of five to where the monsters had room to eat and keep their area "clean." Wife was tired of BBQ so she had the salad and yes one kid had the cheeseburger and one with chicken tenders. I had the crafted Irish Nacho Burger. The chicken strips were slightly breaded and the burger didn't have McDonald's feel. Wifes salad was fresh according to her and worth the change. The dressing and seasoned chicken made the salad excellent according to wife. Now the burger i had was basic and regular flavor. If I would have know I'd pay the extra $2 for taste. For $52 bucks, I think I'll pass on this...
