The Kickin' Crab GARLAND, TX — Restaurant in Garland

We come here nearly every other weekend and man we LOVE it here. We’ve been to the Carrollton and Town east location and MAN, they do it waaaaay better at this location. They are really accurate on the wait time even on the weekends like Saturdays. We always get the same thing when we come, calamari, pound of shrimp, pound of snow crab, potatoes and corn medium Cajun flavor and HOLY SH!!T. We’ve been to many crab places all over and this place does it the best. The flavor is amazing and has an actual kick to it. The calamari is so great here as well. Very meaty and nice and crispy. I always add some lemon as it helps add to the flavor profile. The servers are the absolute nicest and incredibly prompt. We’ve been coming here for over a year now regularly and it’s always the same workers and they are always the best. The manager as well is super friendly and cool. He always greets us when he sees us. We’ve NEVER been let down here in the 16 months we’ve been coming here. It’s gotten to the point where I get withdrawals if I don’t come here 😂. Extremely Disappointed — We Won’t Be Back

I went to this seafood spot with my family to celebrate my son, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. When we walked in, it wasn’t even busy, so we expected decent service. Instead, we sat there for over an hour and still didn’t receive our food.

The only person who got anything was my son — and even that order was wrong. We asked for wings with all flats, made it very clear, and they still brought out the wrong thing. We sent it back, thinking our food would be coming soon, but that never happened. Meanwhile, we watched at least 6 or 7 other families walk in after us, order crawfish just like we did, and get served before us.

To top it off, the manager on duty didn’t even apologize or try to make things right. All he said was we didn’t have to pay for our drinks. No accountability, no explanation, nothing.

We ended up leaving and had to go up the street to Crab Station just to finally eat. What was supposed to be a special family dinner turned into frustration and disappointment. We won’t be...

Worst experience! Party of 4, we went on a Friday night 6:30. They seated us right away, but took 10+ minutes before we were able to hail a waiter to take our drink order. My husband and I decided to share a pound of shrimp and sweet potato fries. Our friends got their food. We got our fries, but no shrimp. our friends were almost finished with their meal and people that came in after us had gotten theirs, still no shrimp. And no waiter to be found. Went up to the bar/kitchen area and were told our food was almost ready. Didnt want it by then because our friends were done eating. We had been there for over an hour. Talked to the manager and was told they would package up our shrimp to take home.
