Much better than ANY Chinese buffet around. Definitely 5 stars for Asian buffet. The southerners are still upset with 3 star reviews because no beans and sausage gravy, but as far as chinese buffet are concerned this is definitely the best in the area.
HOWEVER, $19.99 for the dinner buffet is not really justifiable based in any other Asian buffet I've ever been to on the entire east coast, north to south. But... being the best, we will be back.
Second note: although it's the best in THIS AREA there are many areas of improvement compared to other buffets. Minimal dessert offerings.. chicken roast and pork ribs might as well have been boiled they were so nice to look at but totally unseasoned. Chicken wings started in NY as a Buffalo Wing. Why change it and add honey and hot sauce and a coating so crunchy they hurt your teeth. Many, many items on the buffet lacked Asian flavor compared to other buffet. But I'll say once again, this is top notch compared to any other type of buffet in the area. Minus the collard greens and black eyed peas....
Read moreThis place is just like any other Chinese buffet in the triangle area. I love food so when i hear about “good” food, the price don’t matter. But this particular buffet is overpriced for the quality of the food and service given. They only have two small buffet areas that’s supposed to be considered “hot” foods. Then you have the typical salad bar and the sushi that’s been sitting for hours at a time. The food is not fresh, all the chicken was soggy and you can tell the foods been sitting for hours. The so-called “salmon“ Was DEFINITELY not salmon!!!!! The crab legs tasted like water (no flavor whatsoever) the temperature of the food was lukewarm (and this is supposed to be a hot buffet) food was damn near room temperature. The price of the buffet would be worth it only if the food was good and unfortunately I paid for not one, but three adult buffets and all 3 of us left the restaurant highly unsatisfied and VERY disappointed. That should say enough. Im good, I’ll continue to get takeout. At least I’ll have...
Read moreThis is not my first time coming to Asian Delight Buffet. I have actually referred plenty of people to this buffet. I enjoy the small portions of food that are available at a time which means they are always replenishing the buffet with fresh food. To my knowledge, Asian Delight Buffet is one of the very few buffets that also offers all you can eat crab legs. In the past, I have experienced great service which is really what makes customer loyalty so great. Tonight, I had a server named “Jason” who gave loud sighs when asked nicely to refill kid drinks. With the understanding that other factors may affect performance, I asked if he was okay and he responded yes while walking away. When asked for a straw, he proceeded to sigh loudly again and returned with the straw and the check. I mentioned the rude service upon checkout and was only provided with, “thank you.” Due to the lack of concern or reassurance of corrective action, I unfortunately will not be returning or referring anyone to this...
