I don't understand what's going on with this place. Besides people standing around not wanting to do their job but I went through the drive through first I was put on, hold forever. It just kept going and going cause it seemed like the girl didn't know how to do her job at the window. So then I order my food. I get it. I look at it like I do before I leave. What ends up happening? I don't get what I'm supposed to. So then I have to wait another 1520 minutes in line, go back around. Tell him at the window, then they go ahead. They give me a box and they give me the wrong d* thing again. So then I had to walk in there. And after all this, my food Is completely cold? And I had to do it 3 × 2 get more order, right? That's not right i'm not sure what's going on. With management, or maybe they should be training people better, or I'm not sure what the problem is, I understand the young generation, they don't want to do their job and they would rather stand around and talk, but it's uncalled for when you put people in positions and don't know. How to do their job? And then you expect them to do their job. When the line is wrapped and you got somebody. That's out of window. That's questioning everything, because she does know how to type it in a computer or something like that. Something has to change and then for somebody. A customer to have to come back 3 × 2 get his order, right? Why all this food is cold now? And now I have to go home and I have to answer to my family. Why the food is cold? Because people didn't want to get it right. The first time that's not right, it's quite sad and I most definitely will be contacting corporate tomorrow. Because this isn't the first time this is actually about the fifth time. And yes, you would think I would learn not to go there, but I'm not gonna drive to the Other Side of Raleigh, to go to a popeye's chicken or drive to the one on I believe it's on newburn Avenue, where they have bugs problems. This is the closest one to me. Something has to change and please read my review and please get back to me. That would greatly be appreciated. I hope you have wonderful and blessed...
Read moreMy daughter and I went through the drive-through at this Popeyes yesterday. It was the start of our 2-Hour road trip, so we decided to get some food before hitting the road.
The attendant that took our order and was at the drive-through window seemed as if she might’ve been in a bad mood, or not having a good day. She was not polite or courteous, and she had a bad attitude.
At the drive-through window, I tried asking about something new they had on the menu, and she was very reluctant to even respond to me. She stayed silent a lot, and I kept having to ask her if she was still there because she was not answering my questions. She seemed very annoyed and did not want to be bothered.
With all of that attitude and frustration, when I finally got to the window, my food was not even ready. She then informed me that it would take an extra seven minutes for my spicy blackened chicken sandwiches to be ready. I told her I don’t have time to wait so she can just give me the regular versions.
She rolled her eyes and almost dropped my credit card as she snatched it from my hand. I gave her the look of disappointment and indicated that this was not OK. She went and got the food and handed the bag to me without as much as a thank you.
My daughter was not at all surprised by any of this because she frequents this establishment. She said this is how they normally are there. I had not encountered that before and was appalled by the whole thing.
I checked my receipt as I was driving off and realized that I was charged an additional $.25 per combo meals. I was confused as to what the extra charges were and then realized she gave me size medium drinks, which she never asked me about. I assumed that I was getting whatever the standard size was that came along with the combos.
If we were not in a rush, I would have parked, gone inside, and demanded a refund of everything. This was not acceptable at all.
Besides the poor service, the sandwiches, fries, biscuits, and drinks were good. We...
Read moreRude to me, rude to my father, shorted our order, then argued with me over the coleslaw left off order. Rude, rude rude My elderly father came in to the store to use the restroom facility and the young man locking up tried to throw him out. Even after my father explained that he was about to have a restroom emergency. My father said it's in the bushes or here, and that rude kid actually said..."well not here." My dad being my dad went past rude boy number one anyway to relieve himself. As this is happening, (unawares to me) I am standing at the counter waiting, waiting, waiting.... finally an employee walks past the counter, and never once breaks stride or looks my way as he shouts, "WE'RE CLOSED!!!"
*I will met Rüde Boy number two in episode two or as i like to call it, Rude boy number two and the coleslaw.....
When we went through the drive thru because the store was closing inside for COVID measures the super employee of the month behavior continued ... When they shorted our order I had to go knock at restaurant door...they completely ignored me..So I walked up to the window. They tried to shoo (yes shoo) me away. Then...... They actually argued with me about the coleslaw...told me, ' the manager assures me it is there. Packed it herself.'. . I say, 'nope'. So they hand me a coleslaw single...i say,' it was a family meal.'...they say managers says 'blah, blah, blah.'...''i say you or the police are welcome to come inspect my vehicle for the 35cent in coleslaw you think I have stashed in there or you can just give me my GD coleslaw!'' 90% sure they spit in it. So I spent 60$+ to be talked down to, ignored, insulted and to cap it all of the meal was awful. The one exception being the fries. Everything else was oversalted, overcooked and served with a major side of lip. Don't...
