Pour House — Restaurant in Gas City

A group of us went there for karaoke on a Tues night. We not only love karaoke, but I also host karaoke twice a week at different bars and private events. The lady that ran the karaoke there seemed like she didn't welcome the singers. We all can sing very well and she would turn the music down after we requested several times to turn it up so our levels would be even and not our voices sooo loud over the music. She would turn it up at the beginning of the song then turn it down. Sooo I finally asked her can she turn the music up and she said that she's not allowed to. But yet when she sang the music was up perfectly. We all noticed it and left. Too bad because the few people that she had were really nice people. And we were going to bring more people back the following week. But after her making us feel unwelcomed we will not be coming back. We like to travel to different places and sing karaoke. We even went to Dayton OH a few times a year and bring a group of singers and really entertain the patrons there. I have over 200 karaoke followers on my own karaoke page on FB. Food is good and all, but I have an issue. I understand the bartender was doing their job, but playing cards is not illegal as long as there is no gambling. There was no chips or money out, so there was no way for the bar to get in trouble.

If we wanted to put what she said into context, anyone could gamble during a game of pool or even the sports games we watch on their tvs. You can't stop us playing card games because "You never know if we are gambling" cause that works for all these examples I just mentioned.

So please change this rule as some people really do just play cards in-between down times in Karaoke or whenever to have fun. Bars are supposed to be a place to wind down and have fun with a few friends, and limiting people on what they can do, fun-wise, just makes this bar less...

Have always had a great experience here until tonight I had ordered food when I got the food I had realized I was misunderstood on the phone i let the gentleman know what I had wanted to order and what I got when I did he continued to say the receipt only said 1 of the item and I said I understood I wanted to order the difference and would would pay and wait until he sighed and threw up his arms and said he was already doing other things that I couldn’t order anything else because my receipt only showed those items poor customer service don’t have a job if you...
