Cool Beans Cat Cafe — Restaurant in Gastonia

This place is so adorable and amazing you can tell they really care about the cats and there’s some rooms that’s off limits(i believe just for the cats/employees) and it’s an amazing idea to let the cats be able to take time away if it’s crowded!!

The rules are very simple and easy to follow for their safety and all of the cats are sweet they either rubbed against my hand or gave me a kiss, some are silly about trying to get the straw to your drink. (we didn’t pick up the black kitty i think his name is Sags he hopped onto my BF to try to get his straw but we respected every rule for their safety) I also love how you can adopt them as well, MASON MY BELOVED ILL MISS YOU FOREVER i wish i could have gotten him i love his little curly belly and his cuddliness!!

Well, I was excited to go here and see the cats really quickly and grab a nice cold brew to go after a long day at a vendor market.

We got there, and the cat "room" is seperate from the rest of the cafe, and you have to pay $7 per person to go in (and there was an almost 30 minute wait to to in there).

I went to order drinks, and asked questions about the sweetener used in the drinks. The answer was that they're all different. I told the person I was looking for cane sugar based and they're all different again was the response.

So, I ordered two iced coffees with oat milk and they were both drastically different. Neither tasted right The maple one tasted like artifical chemicals and my son's caramel one was about 5 times as swwleet as mine and tasted like straight sugar.

Coffee with a cause! If you’re looking for a place to get a delicious chai latte and hang out with cool cats… look no further! If you’ve never been you pay for your time with the cats in 30 minute increments. It’s the lowest costing cat cafe I’ve ever been to which is nice so you can go more often. All the cats are available for adoption, if you’re in the market start here. There are several rooms to hang out in that are all really nicely decorated. It’s a great place to hang with friends, some work done, or just play with cats. Don’t pick them up though, this is a rule at just about every cat cafe, but don’t worry most of the time they will come to you for some love. If you haven’t been, you need to go.
