Very disappointed in the staff's rude behavior. I was on a limited break from work, so I called and ordered my food (so it would be ready when I arrived). I walked from my store (a block away), paid for my food, sat down and starting eating it - when the girl from the register came over and told me I HAD TO LEAVE! WHAT?!? She said I HAD TO LEAVE because I had ordered my food before I arrived so I WASN'T ALLOWED to eat it there. There were only two tables occupied outside at the time (at 2:00 pm). "What?" I asked. "I bought it here but I can't eat it here?" I've ate there many times, so I thought there must have been a misunderstanding. I asked to speak to the manager. He came over and I tried to explain why I had pre-ordered my food (from them), and I was sitting down to eat it - then he RUDELY interrupted me to say that "The tables were reserved, and he wasn't listening to me!" "What?" I asked. [As you can see from the photo, there were many available tables.] "Reserved? There isnt a reserved sign on any of the tables". He yelled at me - "The tables are reserved for food in plates!" What????? Should I have asked for my food to be put in a plate? He was shouting loudly at me (which resulted in me shouting back). This situation was completely uncalled for. Had they not interrupted me, I would have already been finished eating my meal. I was completely taken off-guard. It was very embrassing. I told him to just refund my money. As I said, I've ate there many times but unfortunately, due to the way I was (mis)treated - that was the last time I will be dining there. The employee and the managers rude behavior was terrible. I can't understand this insane policy, if it truly is a policy, of not allowing you to eat the food you bought there - because the tables are "RESERVED for FOOD in a PLATE!" Wow.

Finally able to get to Pita Wheel and try for the first time! Food was good, came out very fast and hot. I had the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pita with Sweet Potato Fries. My daughter tried the Steak Philly (jalapenos, provolone, grilled onions, ranchero sauce) with Fries, then we both shared a side of baked Mac & Cheese. Everything tastes great and I'm excited to go back and try the other Pitas and the Fried Pickles! Even though the food was great, I really wanted to do this review to recognize Tommy who worked the front end of the restaurant. She was AMAZING. Went above & beyond to get us seated. Given the fact that it was our first time, had no idea it wasn't quite "baby friendly" like carrier aged baby...but Tommy was great - I could tell she does her job efficiently and effectively! She suggested at least 2 options of how we could sit maybe at the bar and she would bring a chair to sit carrier in (passed on that) , we tried the high top table and put the high chair upside down to sit carrier in (didn't work). By now MOST hostesses would be annoyed and frankly would give up but I saw no annoyance from her, she didn't have a attitude and as soon as a table was available we were sat and served quickly. I thanked her for assisting us and working to get us seated. You can't get that kind of customer service everywhere, so for that reason I will definitely go back.

First time eating here. Not disappointed at all. I got a Greek pita of some sort and it was great. It had grilled chicken in it. Season fries were my side. Very good. My wife got the Fried Pickle Philly. She really enjoyed it. Her side was cucumber salad and she said it was “ok”. Price was what I would have expected and it was ready for pick up when we arrived. The place has a really cool vibe as it’s an old car service station with bay doors that roll up for indoor dining. Look forward to trying something different next time! 8/28/22: went back again. Here’s the rundown We got a Main Street Burger for my mom. She enjoyed but her bacon was chewy. It’s hard to bite chewy bacon on a burger. It should be crispy . My wife got the Mad Greek salad. She said it was good, not great. The chicken was a little dry. My daughter got the Buffalo chicken wrap. She said the same thing about her chicken. I got the Epic Club Wrap. It came with bacon but must have had very little and it was also very chewy. Definitely need crispy bacon so when you bite in you don’t pull the whole piece out. Gonna deduct one star. Still great food and we will be back. Got ours to go and it was ready when we arrived! 9/24: finally got a chance for a sit down meal here. What a totally cool place!! And dog friendly to boot. Food was still quick and tasty. Look forward to the next time!

I am never one to write reviews, but I have been a regular at Pita Wheel many times and have always loved the atmosphere, however after our experience today I will not return. We took our friends and their two small children to Pita Wheel for dinner, and we were sat outside since it was the only seating available for a party of 6, which is totally fine. The weather was looking a little rough, but it wasn’t supposed to rain for another hour so we thought we’d be okay. We ordered our food and very shortly after our food came out, it began to downpour. We were able to get the two kids and all of the belongings and carriers in, but our food got absolutely soaked. No one came to help us carry our food in, and once we were inside, no one acknowledged us for several minutes. After they finally acknowledged us they were unable to seat us inside, and we decided to leave. They didn’t offer to remake our food to go, since we all only took a few bites before it was literally swimming in rainwater, and then the waitress asked if we wanted the check to pay for the ruined food. We explained that we didn’t feel it was fair to pay for food we didn’t get to eat, and the waitress said “well why didn’t you grab the food when you came in?” After we got the kids and their diaper bags/carriers inside, the food was already soaked and not to mention we stood in the waiting area for several minutes with no help so we wouldn’t have and a place to put the food anyway. They did eventually comp the food, but we then continued to wait for another 10 minutes while waiting for someone to take the check for the drinks we had. I haven’t ever experienced bad service at pita wheel previously, and will almost always recommend it to people, but after this we will not be back or recommend to any of our friends. It was very...

This place was recommend to me by a subscriber from my YouTube channel which I randomly do Food Reviews on. The subscriber stated that he goes to this place a few times a week and told me that since I hand never been I had to go. So now curiosity set in and I had to know how it was. So on Friday I made the trip across town, camera in tow to Dallas, NC where I find this gem of a place. The Pita Wheel, when I pulled up there was a old school antique vibe and that definitely transitioned inside, this place had a vibe like no other. Fresh aromas in the air, customers enjoying their meals, friendly smiling staff eager to take your order and ready to assist you with and menu questions you may have. The Pita Wheel is worth the trip just to see some of the cool pictures and signs they have around the restaurant, but then we get to the food... The food is fresh, hot and delicious its almost dreamy. While there I ate the Chicken bacon ranch Philly and fries, let me tell you I was a bit hesitate at first. But when I picked up that soft warm pita filled with flavorful chicken, delicious bacon, creamy cheese and topped with a drizzle of golden ranch. The taste will knock your socks off as your taste buds explode in excitement and joy! My visit here was very very pleasant and I will be going back, If you're looking for great food and a awesome vibe search no...
