The manager in the mornings is not pleasant to deal with. You place an online order and you walk in and see bags on the counter, and if you turn one to see if your name is on it, you get snapped at for touching them. "now I have to throw them all away". Nonsense. If it's not ready to be picked up then don't put it on the counter, and don't snap a people for doing normal human things. This week I oredered through the app and chose a special that should include hashbrowns. I get to the counter, check the bag and hashbrowns are missing. I am told by the cashier "If you'd have orderd it online it would have come through" then by the same manager "if you order it online it will come through, since it didn't come through you did something wrong". Then when I scratched my head in confusion for a second, they repeated it a 3rd and 4th time. So after hearing I screwed up my online order for a 4th time, I silenetly turned to walk away in my frustration, rather than going round with them anymore. As I get halfway to the door I hear "That was rude.. not like I wasn't still talking". How long should I stand there and be told I messed up the online order? What's rude is calling a customer rude for putting his work schedule first and walking away; for realizing that in his frustration he may not be the best communicator and walks away in silence. I replied to her in frustration "There's no point in debating the issue, Clearly I made a mistake. I gotta get to work. Have a nice day". Read moreI come to this dunkin all the time and order through the drive through. My orders are sometimes 12 items and never have been tuned away. Today my wife had our two children 3y/o and 10 month old in the vehicle and went through the drive through. She ordered and added a few more items for visiting family but it was not more than what we have ordered in the past. The rude lady in the drive through demanded my wife to come inside because our order was too big for a drive through order. There is no sign anywhere saying a limit, and I’ve ordered more in the past so why was this never addressed? I think it’s unprofessional to make up rules as we go, drive through or front counter the order would still need to be prepared by the same person/people. She embarrassed my wife and after my wife explained she was only using the drive through because of the kids she was rude and told her to wait out front and we will bring out the food. Of course they did not rush to make or walk out her order. I’m not sure what the problem is but if you don’t need this job or don’t want to work there you can find another that you don’t have to deal with people. Read moreMaria is wonderful. I also really like this guy (forgot his name). He's so nice and has a good personality. There is another woman who makes me feel like family when she doesn't even know me. This dunkin is the best. They have the patience of a saint. I have been inside a few times and have seen the high school kids next door, come in and be so rude to them. I've witnessed women try to cuss them out because she messed up her own order etc etc. Every time, they handle is so well (much better than I would have when I was a server/ manager)
The food is good. They are sweet and will let me make my sweet pepper bacon more crispy than it sometimes comes. They get it out fast and are pleasant to deal with.
I've worked in the food industry for about 17 years now. I know how employees are treated and I know how little respect and pay they get for what they do. Keeping a consistent staff who make the experience enjoyable, quick and easy is very hard!
Give this team something! Because you arw lucky. You've got a great team working in this store. Also, I LOVE that they say Happy Holidays. It is nice to see people accepting that there are many many other holidays besides christmas esp since most of those were around long before...
