Let me begin by thanking Michelle and Sabrina. So welcoming! I had the spaghetti and meatballs(3 meaty) Sabrina mentioned that the sauce was homemade, and that it was delicious 😋 👌 indeed! I'm always worry about homemade sauce but, the chef was on point. I also ordered their ham&cheese empanada. Let me tell you, that empanada would fill you up, so if you are not really hungry but still want protein, get an empanada. The food was fresh, the cortadito( strong 💪 ☕️ was delicious, so not add extra sugar) So, Elena's has earned my business, keep the food fresh, the staff friendly, and I can't wait the keep trying everything in the menu. They do have pastries, they look good but I'm watching my weight 😁. By the way, this is an Argentinean restaurant. Elena's is in the middle of downtown Gastonia. Good location, good for dates and family. I hope they stay around! I will add pics of what I had, the...

We visited for the first time on Saturday. The empanadas were great. We bought a dozen and took home 8 to cook later. The dough was flakey and light. Each type was a different shape. It is hard to make them cheaper, certainly they would not be as authentic and good because of the dough, at home.

Beautiful pastries and cakes. We had tiramisu. Enjoyed the coffee with dessert. Excellent! A lot of love goes into the food.

The ceiling tiles and building reminds me of some of the places I went into in Buenos Aires.

A big shout out to Sabrina who added to our enjoyment by telling us a lot about the food, restaurant and Elana.

We will go back to try some other Argentina specialties in the near future.

It is a great place for dessert and coffee if you don't want to make it a full meal.

Any adult beverages are BYOB. That is ok. The...

Elena's Argentinian Cafe is currently celebrating their grand opening, and you should get there ASAP! The customer service is top-notch! The girl who helped me today (I didn't get her name) was incredibly friendly! She had a smile that never faded! I asked her what the pastry was that I ultimately bought (I've uploaded a picture), and she told me the name and gave me a description of it that made it impossible to pass on! Unfortunately I've forgotten what it was called (in my defense, I'm painfully Caucasian so the name went in one ear and out the other). The coffee was also delicious! And the prices are incredibly great for the quality! There are tables that you can sit at if you choose to eat in, and the shop is quiet and welcoming! I will absolutely be going back time and time again! Everything in there...

Elena’s I had the opportunity to visit this Hometown feel of Gastonia, North Carolina . What a pleasant visit it was greeted by a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff employee named Natalie. She proceeded to tell me more about the culture of the Argentinian way and the various foods and delicacies of the country that is so warming and welcome. Her story of how she knew the owners is a very testament of what God can do in a person‘s life to be the light and path, an example to all of us. Although I had the latte, it was very delicious and I knew the food would be excellent in this quaint town of diversity. Thank you, Natalie for sharing your heart and desire with others on the Argentina road to health. Try it out and experience the Atmosphere and Warmth of the Argentinian Road.. Sonny

At some point I conformed with certain flavors and meals from Gastonia, Charlotte, and even Bessemer City. And because Gastonia is exponentially growing, I was drawn away from downtown. But because of the Gastonia Fall Festival, I decided to give Elena's a try... AND BOI WAS EVERY BITE A TASTEBUD AWAKENING. I tried their Lomito Argentino and it was by far the best sandwich I've had. My sister ordered the Fettuccini Alfredo w/ Chicken and when I say I have been HUNTING for this kind of alfredo flavor... my goodness. And the cherry on top, their flan with dulce de leche brought out "mmm"s with every bite. I've thought of Elena's too much afterwards and have chosen it as my weekly-rewarding spot 🤤
