If I could give NO STARS I definitely would! Whoever was working the window at 1:00am on 5/3/2025 was the rudest person for no apparent reason after we were told they were only doing door dash and mobile orders my son was told that he needed to get out of the line. We went around to see if they were open but didn’t see anyone inside so rode back through the line to ask if the inside was closed this lady and I use the term loosely stated “you said we weren’t open I didn’t “ confused I said I was asking the question to be clear just needed to know if we could come inside and order no animosity or anything in my approach then she proceeded to say “we aren’t open for you” I am not sure who the franchise owner is but have plans to find out. If attitude reflects leadership then there is no wonder this establishment is in the state that it is. This is by far the worst McDonalds I have ever been to. The standard isn’t just low there actually is no standard. It can’t possibly be that difficult to find at least one quality employee. I have been to this location a few times and there is always a wait recently while waiting 30 minutes for a frozen coke I met a young lady who had brought her double cheeseburger back because it was raw( her words) whoever owns this franchise should not have their privilege to represent McDonalds revoked because they are putting a terrible stain on the McDonalds name. I waited 30 minutes for a 4 piece chicken nugget happy meal. When I was there every car that went through the drive through had to park in a spot and wait for their food insane. I can sympathize with another commenter who said they can never get ice I stopped for a cup of water and an ice cream cone I was there for about 35 minutes and there were two pieces of ice in the water. I highly recommend that everyone for your own sanity, safety and health to patronize one of the other more professionally managed McDonalds because the 1500 Franklin Boulevard Gastonia location is nothing short of trash with some maybe not all...
Read moreI just had the worst experience I have ever had in any type of restaurant and I am a server myself!! We paid for our food but because of the cashier you guys had on the drive thru she did not ask for the managers fingerprint until after she charged our card. We had 10.43 on the card but when they ran it again it declined because the money was already taken off they did not ask for another form of payment, when we tried to explain the manager took it as us arguing started yelling and told us to leave without our food. I had cash to pay for it but she refused to accept it and said she would call the cops because she is not dealing with us for raising our voice at her when she was the first to yell, and shes a manager. if this is the type of employment you are okay with having thats absolutely ridiculous, this was the most ghetto experience and I understand its a McDonalds but the least she could have done was given us the food as we did pay for it. she started to call the cops so we left because there was no point in having cops for something they would have agreed on being her fault, I myself have had this happen at the restaurant I work at and we have still given them the food as they did pay for it, just like we did. she truly needs to be fired because this type of job is not for her. Her name is TiTi and I was just trying to get our food we had to leave hungry and with no money left on the card, and believe me if our money is not back on the card in 24 hours like she said I will be taken measures into my own hands you as a company need to take measures into your own hands by firing someone who talking to paying customers the way she did. Everyone else in the store was also unhappy not a single person looked like they were enjoying anything in her store as she said. Personally I dont think she should be allowed to have a store if she has no respect for anyone at all. she is THE MOST ghetto person I have ever met truly, and the rudest manager Ive...
Read moreThis morning was a complete nightmare! I went through the drive-thru and the lady that was trying to help me with my order was talking over me and I couldn't complete my sentences before she went on to the next question. Then when it came time to give my code to her she said I was not allowed to use two codes at one time. I told her that I had a code for double points for in the morning, and then I had another code that I used for my deal what was the two-dollar breakfast sandwich. And she kept interrupting me asking me did I want anything else anything else? gentleman got on there and it really got confusing so I drove around and went inside well then the door was locked at 6:05 a.m. they were open at 6:00 a.m. so I had to beat on the door to get in and then when I got in and made my order. I sat down waited and they called my number which I did not know what it was because the computer did not print me out a receipt nor did it print me out a number. But I was the only one sitting in there besides the gentleman who I had to let in because the doors were locked so the young lady come around the corner swinging my bag of food healing out the number and I told her I wasn't sure but I do believe it was mine so she tossed it on the counter and walked away. Then I asked her if I could have some jelly, and she come back with three packs of jelly tossed it my way and turned around and walked off. I understand that this particular McDonald's is under construction and it has a new cosmetic lift in a new computerized system that they will be using, however that does not justify the negative behavior towards customers. If you don't have time to deal with customers, then I suggest you look elsewhere for a...
