Shepp's Venue — Restaurant in Gastonia

Owner has VERY bad customer service skills, rude and disrespectful. Frustrated with his workers who were nice and really working. Tells the dj what to play not what’s for the crowd. The place OLD smell likes cigarettes, I saw two ROACHES crawling on the wall on the second floor. Was there having a one year anniversary celebration and the owner was aware of me having a celebration there… was so rude, upset me and my guest. Locked the doors so no one else could come in. Place was empty anyways, my guest and I is what brung the crowd and the money to the bar that night. We left and went across the street to a very friendly welcoming spot called Meka’s. I will never be back to this place or recommend...

This is the best place I’ve been to in Gastonia NC thus far ! It’s a great size, has awesome food, the staff is nice and accommodating and I can say much more! I had a good time. Was on my own most the night. New to the area. Wish I had not ate before I came. The owner offered free food. Next time I'm gonna totally try. Heard it was all good! The bartender was so sweet and in my eyes was not given the respect and tips deserved. It was a Sunday and they had karaoke....
