The food was Fine, not awesome. The service was good, not perfect. BUT!!!!!!! the visit was pretty bad. We went because they are dog friendly. We had to sit outside with our dog (This is normal). But it was a cold day. They had us seated under the outside roof that covers half the deck. There was one other table of two out there. It was 52 degrees. We are from the beach and were cold despite wearing hoodies and hats. We decided to move ourselves two tables over so as to sit in the sun. When they brought our food, the waiter realised we had moved. I motioned to him that we moved to be in the sun.

In the next moment we were being chastised by a man from two tables over. He did not introduce himself. He simply hollered at us from the other side of the empty table that was beside us. He started with "I'm sorry guys but I can't have you sitting out here, you're going to have to move back to your table over here." We thought he was joking at first. There were only two tables out there. I asked him if he was serious, and he said that he was. He said that "this section is obviously closed" and you can't be here. Mind you, there was nothing that indicated that the area we were sitting in was any different from where we moved from. We only moved 2 tables over and about 20'. Not only was in not OBVIOUSLY closed, it was not even obviously a different 'section'.

The whole thing was silly at best. But even if he HAD a good reason for asking us to move, he certainly did not reveal it, nor was he polite. Instead of coming to our table, introducing himself, and then proceeding to politely explain the issue, he decided to 'holler' at use from across the room. It's bad enough that he was insisting we sit in the colder area for not good reason, but his manners were non-existent.

I will...

So, I gave this restaurant 2 stars. But I would give them 1/2 of a star for my food quality and service. I went on a Sunday evening about 7pm, we waited only about 10 minutes. The server was not the best. She was not attentive and didn't seem to care about the quality of my food. I ordered the chopped steak. It was supposed to have sauteed onions, mushrooms and mushroom gravy over it. I ordered it medium and ask that it not be burnt. When it came out it was black on both sides and gray on the inside(very well done). The onions were barely cooked(crunchy) there were about 4 slices of mushrooms and NO gravy. After it took me over 5 minutes to get the server, I explained the problem and asked for onions that were sauteed more and mushroom gravy. The onions that came out were barely cooked and were barely warm. Still NO gravy. So, I ate it because I was hungry. The server never took our plates away. And FYI, they charge an extra 3.5% on the bill if you use a credit card. This was never communicated to us. Right before we left a young man came and took the dirty dishes and asked if we enjoyed the meal, to which I said NO. He explained that staffing was very short and people doing jobs that they weren't trained for. But he was concerned enough to offer us a free dessert to go. It was the biggest piece of chocolate cake that I have ever seen. I did not get his name, but he is the only reason this got 2 stars. Also, they had live music so loud that we couldn't even talk to each other. I figure that this review will get the owners standard comment to the review, it's the same on each negative review for the past year. Clearly he doesn't care. I will try them again, but I don't expect...

While I am not a bar first, food second fan personally, I have ample reason to visit Jimmy's again, and have flipped my initial opinion. Johan is the man to see for service perfection for starters. Dining inside or out is your choice and is always a plus to us, we chose inside yesterday. I looked through the menu and was overwhelmed as my taste buds danced back and forth. Johan brought us some water and began a conversation. My wife eventually decided on the King James Brisket sandwich and fries. Ordinarily she doesn't eat much so when I looked up from my own feast to see her plate becoming empty, I knew her's was as good as mine. I ordered the Mac and cheese with brisket bowl, and could not touch the remaining 1/3 of the offering as it was more than I could eat. Lastly, if I may, there is a secret here. In the conversation Johan and I had at the beginning I asked if I might have one of thebsauces dedicated to a Pork dinner with my brisket. Johan assured me he would see to it. He brought out as a matter of course, a small ramekin of it in case I wanted a little extra. They call it Blackberry Chipotle sauce. I love smoked foods and they did the brisket so well but this sauce is the perfect add on for my taste. Not too hot and not too sweet, my wife even dipped a ff in a couple if times. I suggest you try what ever they offer, and at least, have a piece if Italian cake before you leave. Johan says.... if it is your first time here, it will not be your last. We agree Ps. The prices were less than the value of the food quality and quantity. Less than $40 for a great meal...

Wife & I was driving in for weekend. Utilizing In-law's Time Share in Pigeon Forge. While driving Wife started looking online for Supper Options. She found this place in Gatlinburg & we both sure are glad she did. Sammy the General Manager is front & center, working his butt off. Michelle are Server was attentive & had such a warm friendly demeanor, in spite of them being short staffed(which service wise & wait for food wise, you wouldn't know they were short)! We sat at a long high top with wide cushioned stools. Would sit there again. Mac-n-cheese with gouda was excellent. Potato Salad probably needed more egg, but taste was good. Baked Beans were flavorful. Wife got Blackberry Chipotle Wings for her main course & I got the Beef Brisket. We shared with one another. The Blackberry Chipotle is a MUST TRY! The Beef Brisket was superb & was their homemade BBQ Sauce(Rim Rockin' I think name). Later Michelle let me try there Mustard Moonshine Dipping Sauce. That was "Slap Ya Momma" good 😋 I brought home a slice of their Lemon Italian Cake. Thoroughly enjoyed this morning with my Coffee. Only knock is, $7.95 for the slice is too much. However, it was very good. Also the Extra Side Cost of $5.95 seems a bit much, but then again everything is going up. The 2 price issues didn't take anything away from overall experience & recommendation. We absolutely recommend trying this place & will be sharing with Family, as well as Friends, our experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ THANK YOU Sammy, Michelle & Cooks!!!

Although I would lean more toward 4 and 1/2 stars, I would give Three Jimmy's 5 rather than 4 on the Google scale. My wife and I ate here on our first night, while on vacation in the Gatlinburg area. We were looking for some good BBQ options, and Three Jimmy's did not disappoint. The place seemed pretty clean, and staff were friendly and professional. Our waitress was very sweet and made some great food choice recommendations. Our drinks from the bar were perfectly blended and not watered down, and our food arrived within minutes after our drinks. The food was hot, for the most part, but my one and only nitpick is that my brisket was only lukewarm. Everything else was hot and tasted fresh. The beans and potato salad tasted homemade, the mashed potatoes and brown gravy were perfect, and the moonshine cinnamon apples were amazing! My wife has been talking about those apples ever since we ate at Three Jimmy's, so I highly recommend them as a side choice withy our meal. Prices at Three Jimmy's are a bit steep for the type of food you are ordering, but for a tourist area like Gatlinburg I would say the pricing is about average. Overall we were very happy with our food and service at Three Jimmy's and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, home cooked Tennessee meal. We will certainly be back again during out next Smoky Mountain vacation. 👍

Stood at the door for a few minutes before we were acknowledged. The "host" noticed us and took her time getting herself a drink and gathering a couple menus. We were finally seated and waited about 20 minutes for a waiter/waitress. While waiting other customers were seated after us and got drinks and food, it was not particularly busy at this time either. We almost left then finally someone came to check on us. The waiter was very nice and said whoever sat us didn't mark us down otherwise he would take care of us. Hello, can you not see us sitting here? Not good for first time customers like us. The atmosphere was okay, the lady singing was very sweet, the food was very good! However, it was overall a disappointment, the lady at the front, the first employee everyone sees, ruined the experience for me as we had a long wait before anyone acknowledged us and we looked up other restaurants in the area while waiting, we would have left sooner otherwise.
