Went here for first time for a late dinner at 8pm on 18 May 2021 after a long 9 hour day running tow truck to Portland from Seaside & moving several vehicles around during few hours while in Portland.
Teriyaki burger & sweet potato fries were quite delicious... Hats off to the cook! Other than cook who prepared food, the front counter crew was not friendly or service minded from the moment I walked in. En route to Fultanos I thought would just call ahead & do to go so I could drive home yet upon arriving in parking lot while still on phone finishing order, I decided & said would do fine in instead. At which point I walked in & passed through front area to a table & spoke in passing saying I would have the burger I just ordered dine in.
Immediately upon me relating these few words to the lady while passing through front area of place they began harassing about face shaming & covering face which I ignored & promptly sat in back dining area awaiting burger.
Once again when I called via phone from table & requested bill so could pay the lady took card & returned with receipts plus a DISGRACEFUL & SHAMEFUL face covering thing & said had to wear. I signed receipt & advised her I cannot (breathing condition & will pass out due to inability to breathe with on), to which she said nothing & took receipt while leaving the disgraceful face covering on table.
I left a literal minute later as was headed home to Astoria.
Being as 90% of my 13 year career thus far has been one of several aspects of customer service including several recent restaurants in Astoria, I'm pretty sure I know customer service & my definition of such is serving the customer to best of ability ensuring they feel WELCOME & AT EASE. This experience felt far more like customer HARASSMENT! I feel the only person there this evening who provided proper customer service was the cook who prepared my meal... & the gentleman who brought meal to table. The ladies on the other hand both the initial one behind counter upon entering & the server (Ashley) would greatly benefit from learning what it means to provide genuine & courteous customer service.
Google maps won't allow review to be posted without minimum one star which is only given to the cook! Perhaps this establishment would do better to place their cook up front customer side & their wait staff in the back preparing food & learning how to serve customers with their actions (ie food preparation).
Again, my hat is off to the cook for the delicious dinner & gentleman who delivered...
Read moreFamily of 4 went yesterday to get some pizza and bowl, dropped two of us off at 6pm to get on the waiting list to bowl because it was first come, first serve. We were told the current waiting time was about two hours but the the bowling attendant, Stuart, didn't seem very helpful, disinterested, and borderline rude about how he could help us and how we could bowl next. We put our name on the Stuart's list, and asked how he would get it touch with us when it was our turn; there were only two names ahead of us on the list. "I'll find you," was Stuart's response.
When the other two of us came back from running home, we grabbed another round of beers and ordered 3 large pizzas. The beer was tasty, the pizza fantastic, and as we were chatting after waiting for about two hours, a group came in and sat at the table next to us. Stuart came to their table, took down their name, and told them they were next. My dad said "What about us?" and Stuart just waved the list at us. He said we needed to put our names on the list, and we said we had, he asked who took our name, and we told him that he had. He said he couldn't find our name on any list and we could be next. Needless to say, we didn't stick around if we would finally get a chance to bowl. My parents just moved here this week, we were excited to have an alley/pizza combo so close, but I dont think we'll ever go back to bowl after...
Read moreHonestly only writing this review because of how disappointed I am in the performance of both the staff and the lanes. Right off the bat we ordered shoes and 1 game for 2 people and then he had the total all charged up and I changed my mind wanting to get 2 games. He was annoyed at how he was already at the payout part of the p.o.s. and said no. So then we played our 1 game went and payed for 2 more games then at the end of our 2nd game decided we wanted some pizza so we ordered a large cheese pizza and after 30 mins of it not being ready and every other group of people that came in after us getting their food I decided to ask the employees about it and every single employee said oh yeah large cheese pizza its almost ready then decided to buy another game and then went to play my last 2 games and by the end of my games went to ask for a refund on the pizza and it had been sitting on the hot plate and they just neglected to bring it to the lane I was really wishing they would have done something to make that right but since no action made me feel like a wanted customer I will never go back to fultanos...
