Stopped by recently and was honestly disappointed by the lack of basic customer service. No greeting, no smile, no acknowledgment when I walked in. First impressions are important, and if staff act like customers are an inconvenience, it really discourages people from wanting to return.

I even tried to start conversation and ask about a product, partly out of curiosity and partly to break the ice—but instead of showing enthusiasm or giving feedback that might persuade me to try it, I got a flat, uninterested response. That kind of interaction doesn’t inspire confidence in the product or the business.

A warm welcome, a friendly recommendation, or even just a little enthusiasm can completely change the experience and make customers want to come back. I hope you guys take this into consideration...

Would absolutely recommend this place for a quick bite - or in my experience - “catering” for a larger group!! They are so accommodating and lovely to work with. I reached out to Geneseo Baking Co to see if I could place an order for baked goods for a birthday tea party i was hosting at the Central Schoolhouse Inn (also in Geneseo!) I wasn’t sure what pastries i wanted - but I told the lead baker (Kelsey) how much i wanted to spend and how many people would be attending - and she put together a full menu for me with pricing! Oh and did i mention this was all less than 24 hours before the event? They had amazing customer service, and even delivered and plated the pastries to look nice, since I wasn’t able to! Love love love and absolutely will be calling Geneseo Baking Co for any events...

We recently dined here for the first time. While the food and drinks were good, we were surprised to find an extra charge on our card for something we didn’t order. After calling the restaurant, we discovered we had been charged a tip that we did not authorize.
