Waiting to be seated: 5 out of 5 Staff: 5 out of 5 Decor: 5 out of 5 Food: 5 out of 5 Beer Selection: 4 out of 5 Order Time to Plate: 5 out of 5 (a little slow) TOTAL: 34 out of 35... Highly Recommend Our experience started with a friendly smile as we walked in the door. There was a small wait so we put our names on the list. Wait was only about 10 min on a Thursday during prime time. We got our text message and they seated us at a longer table. If you are a party of 2, expect to be seated at the long 8 person table with another couple at the other end. We enjoyed it and there is plenty of space between you. Get the Mac n Cheese and the Onion Rings. This place has a rather amazing decor. Lots of TV with sports on. Colorful wall of the craft beers on tap. Menu is simple and easy to find something for everyone, even for a vegetarian. We tried the burgers. It was a delicious, full flavor, mammoth sized burger. Don't let the 10oz fool you. With everything on top, this is a giant burger... and delicious. The fries were average, but the onion rings are out of this world. Parking is easy since there is a parking garage right there. Overall I would say it is a place we can see ourselves going to on a more regular basis.

Saturday night, 7 pm. Restaurant is full when I arrived. Hostess says 90 minute wait. Normally I would walk away, but I had been wanting to try this place for several months, so I said OK. They took my cell number and I received a text immediately, confirming my table for 2. Their bar was crowded so I went across the street to sit down for a drink. After almost 2 hours, and no notification from them, I decided to call them anonymously to inquire how long the wait was for a table. I was told no wait. ??? Went back in there 2 minutes later and there's 4+ places for two available. We got a table and I didn't mention my reservation. We got seated right away, but then it took almost 10 minutes before we saw our waitress for our drink order. ... My plate arrived with a rainbow of temperature's. Cold onion rings, and luke-warm pork rib meat that topped my hot burger. The onion rings I sent back and the fresh ones were mostly breading and about 25% onion. The burger itself was very good. Deliciously seasoned and the combination of flavors met my expectations for a high end burger joint. My girlfriend had the Lobster Florentine and complained of the amount of salt. "The Assembly" burger joint is still my personal favorite.

Their cocktails are as crafty and delicious as their burgers. Have been coming to the cute Geneva area seasonally, but first time trying out The Burger Local. Of course, we sat at the bar, and I had to opt for a burger, their namesake. Pictured here is the Local Burger: ordered medium-cooked with American Cheese, on a potato bun. Comes with a side (either salad or fries - I opted for the salad) and the usual burger fixings of lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles. You can for sure customize the burger to your liking. Meat was definitely juicy but a bit salty. I will most likely hold off on the cheese the next time for any of their burgers too. The bun was not overpowering and complimented the 10oz patty very well. Interested in trying their other burgers but the rest of the menu is also worth coming back for! Their Haunted Tiki cocktail was excellent and Mai Tai-ish but better. Would be extra tasty if there was a smokiness to it. Not an Old Fashioned fan but took a sip from my Husband's Primo Old Fashioned and it was a step-up from the traditional, which I too enjoyed. Our bartender/server was excellent and attentive, and the environment was steadily busy. Would definitely stop by again.

What an amazing experience (please ask for Nick!!)and food was awesome too. We called ahead to be added to the waitlist and came by around 6.30pm on a Sunday to a packed restaurant ...they checked us in and we were seated in the back room in less than 5 minutes or so.. Our server - Nick - was great - good suggestions and advice on beers, burgers and sides. He actually elevated the experience to a whole level. He was extremely patient with my 10 yr old and suggested many great options for him We ordered the fries with queso as an appetizer and it was out in no time I tried the falafel burger with onion rings - a tad salty for my liking! My husband had the chipotle chicken burger and we ordered some wings. Definitely a lot of food so be prepared. We all had leftovers but I can't stop thinking about the fanatstic staff. They were on top of everything from giving you water, refilling soda, clearing tables, etc. Everyone that we talked to was very friendly. To summarize it, the staff was amazing, the food was okay and I do have to give credit to how fast the food came out even though it looked like a full house

We were a party of 5 (4 adults and 1 child). We ordered 2 four pepper burgers, elotes burger, chipotle chicken burger, kid's cheese burger, buffalo chicken nachos appetizer, one beer and 2 soft drinks = $113.42 The food tasted fine but my brother in law actually got sick at the restaurant and had to vomit. I came home and wasn't feeling too well, I was able to get home let's just say that. My Godson had the cheeseburger (comes on a pretzel bun), we did have to ask for a potato bun and it was brought out fairly quickly but he didnt like the fries too much he said they tasted funny and were kinda cold. We did have a long wait time, we went around noonish so I believe that was probably why it was pretty busy. I did like that they have multiple games on so that was a plus and it eased the wait time. Our server was good, very busy but still checked on us. If you have time and enjoy a twist on burgers this is your place. I will say the nachos were scrumptious!!!

Enjoyed our mid-afternoon "lunch" while shopping in the area. My husband liked the Beyond Local Burger, which can be ordered fully vegan. He substituted regular cheddar cheese for the vegan cheese; no additional charge. I really liked the Falafel Burger. Large, thick patty that is crispy and delicious. I had the tomato and avocado on the side ~ and still worked hard to take a bite because the sandwich is so thick! Loved the combination of tzatziki sauce, feta, and pickled onions. Fries were served while still hot. Our server checked in twice: once right after our order was delivered; and once to bring our bill. It would be helpful to have one more check-in midway through the meal; we needed more napkins and I would have appreciated a drink refill. Otherwise, courteous and efficient service. As others have noted, the music is edgy and loud. With the live acoustics of the space, it definitely makes it hard to carry on a conversation.
