Que Buen Churro — Local services in Geneva Township

At first, this place seemed like a great spot to enjoy an authentic churro. However, after taking a closer look at the pastries, it became obvious that many of them were store bought from places like Costco and Walmart. The baked goods are being resold individually at marked up prices.

I understand that some newer bakeries or cafés might do this, but honesty with customers is important. Personally, I don’t appreciate that kind of practice in our community. It also seems that many of the positive reviews come from people who personally know the owner.

Stopped into Que Buen Churro today and was thoroughly impressed! I tried their classic churro with Nutella filling, and it was a masterpiece. The texture was exactly what a churro should be: a soft, warm interior with a perfectly crispy, golden-brown exterior. The best part is that they aren't super thick or doughy, so you get that perfect crunch with every bite. The churros tasted incredibly fresh.

my father and i got a few raspberry and blueberry muffins, as well as a pack of 6 churros; 3 cream and 3 nutella. the muffins are sweet, fruity, and moist, and the churros leave nothing to be desired! light, airy, coated in generous amounts of cinnamon and a filling of your choice. the bavarian cream and nutella filled churros are my favorite!
