Definitely hands down. I had one of the best experiences at this restaurant. I had a meatloaf Burger on country toast and it was absolutely delicious. Crispy on the country toast and very tender on the meatloaf. My son Nick had a burger which I think it might have been frozen but it was actually very tasty. He had pickles, mushrooms, lettuce and provolone cheese and it was really really good. The best part of the meal were the two ladies. One was the hostess named Brooke who entertained us while we were waiting for a waitress and she had a party of 14 before us but she was there at a timely manner. Her name was Jess. These ladies made us definitely feel like we were at home. Full of laughs and just great people and they made me feel like they're still hope for our country. They said they will follow the owner of the restaurant anywhere. They've never been happier somewhere else. It's all about how you treat your employees. You get the best attitudes out of your employees. Please don't change a thing. I absolutely love it and God bless. If you've never been here on this little Alley in GOTL..... You must try it. You won't be disappointed. Customer service was above and beyond. God bless 🙏🏽🙌🏽💜💜

There was a bit of rain coming our way, at the campground. So we decided to head into town for breakfast. After reviewing our choices, we opted for Mary's Kitchen. Our decision could not have been better! The atmosphere was bright and the staff was friendly. Our party of 6 was greeted, welcomed, and immediately seated. Our server, Shannon, took wonderful care of us, putting up with our boisterous conversation. We started off with coffee, a hot tea, and a hot chocolate that came smothered in whipped cream. The cinnamon rolls came highly recommended, and they did not disappoint. The omelets were filled with meat and vegetables. The country fried steak was tender. The sausage gravy was remarkable, and I'm pretty confident the bread/toast was baked at a local bakery. I can not recommend this restaurant enough. We will certainly be back when in the area.

I picked Mary's Kitchen for my Father's Day brunch this year. They were busy as expected for a highly rated eatery. We ordered the two cinnamon buns first and they were very fresh and tasty with a cup of hot coffee. For the main breakfast, my wife was raving about the corned beef hash. The server (Kesley) took great care of us as she saw the eggs didn't come out of the kitchen as ordered. The correctly cooked eggs (over easy) were out in minutes. I had Mary's Country 3 Egg Omelet. Again, it was prepared excellently and served hot. The place was very friendly with lots of families enjoying the place. I highly recommend if you want some great home cooking comfort foods. ProTip: Mary's is a busy place with a small parking area just off GOTL main street. Best bet is to park on the main road and take the short walk down New Street.

Our server (Mira K - younger girl) was extremely rude. Barely checked on us, didn’t offer a refill on my drink, and had a horrible attitude. I get if you’re having a bad day, but it’s no excuse to take it out on customers. She acted like she didn’t want to take care of us whatsoever. The Cobb salad, was a salad, but not one I’d want to pay $14 for again. The hard boiled eggs were super overcooked and dark gray and the blue cheese dressing was very bland. My friend ordered the black bean sweet potato “burger” with fries (really good) and her aunt ordered the pot roast melt (really awful - more fat than meat). The hostess interacted with us more than our server and she was very nice. Once we got our checks, we were just ready to pay and leave. My friend did mention the quality of the melt and the hostess said they would’ve adjusted the check, but my friend’s aunt had already paid (separate checks). I don’t think I’d ever come back here again. Close to the water but no real views unless you’re on the non-air conditioned enclosed porch and I feel like we can find better food locally for the price. Nearly $40 for the salad, “burger”, sweet...

I had breakfast here during my weekend at Geneva. We got sat and nobody came to our table for a while finally the waitress gets to us and we order our food and drinks. She goes inside and disappears... Another waitress coming in and out of the patio area sat another table got there order and brought out their drinks. I stopped that waitress and asked if we could get our drinks. She went and got them (OJ and an iced tea). Our actual waitress comes out finally and brings a coffee and iced tea. Confused because we have drinks at this point "I thought you ordered coffee" I told her I did not but we got our drinks thank you. She left both drinks and disappeared again, so now we have 4 drinks at the table.... mind you the other table got there food and pretty much left before we got our food. Took forever to get the food and when we did the avocado toast (plain avocado and toast literally) the avocados were not ready and hard. I've been to quite a few mom and pop places and it doesn't take forever for eggs with avocado toast. I would recommend the Sunset...
