The lobster lasagna was delicious! Very buttery and yummy. The cost is a little steep at $30 but it was worth it. The rest of the menu is very reasonably priced. The balsamic dressing is some of the best I've ever had. Service is a little slow. If you're thirsty, you might want you order 2 drinks at the same time. The lobster dip is great too. We love the old shooting game behind the bar. It still turns on after all these years.

The original shooting gallery behind the bar caught my eye and it ended up being the best restaurant on the strip. Really loved the smoked lobster dip! I was totally envious of my son's Salmon Sandwich and the lavender iced tea was delicious. Only issue was the service was a little slow, however; it was the only place in all of GOTL to be even remotely health conscious. We used the shooting gallery as our family photo back drop.

This place is absolutely disgusting. The waiter was blowing his nose when he came to greet us and ask for a drink order. He made a point to say nothing is deep fried, but I got walleye and it was soaked in oil and had no seasoning except for black pepper. I got angel hair pasta as a side and it was oily and had no seasoning either. Also, it was broken up into little pieces. Nasty.

Six of us went to eat at the Sandy Chanty. The owner's husband or I assume co-owner met us coming in the door. At first he said they could not accommodate a table of six because all they had were tables with two and four seats. However, the first table you see when you walk in the front door is a 6-top, where someone had apparently been sitting wrapping silverware but finished. Two of us spoke up and asked if we could sit at that table and first he said no, then one of the girls mentioned that some of us we were ready to eat alot of food and that we were good tippers so he said yes and seated us. We ordered our drinks and those of us drinking pop received warm cans of pop that were set down in front of us unopened with no glass of ice. After he made several trips to the table for menus, our requested drinks, and silverware, we had to request ice because he evidently thought we wanted to drink warm pop. So then we received frosted plastic solo cups not even half full of ice. He took our orders and some of us asked questions and ordered extra items like adding several scallops to our steak dinner at $5 each, to which at the end of getting our orders, he got a little snippy and said "enough from this table". After we ordered, I went to the rest room and it was disgusting! I was looking around for bugs the whole time and even more grossed out and wanted to leave but my friends were anxious to taste the seafood. The mens room door was open so I could see it was equally nasty. Back at the table I was seated two feet from the kitchen doorway so I literally sat there and watched for roaches that might be trying to escape. I looked around the place and the walls were dirty, and the whole place was just really run down and dirty looking. When our food arrived we had to ask for steak sauce and parmesan cheese (from a can) which all arrived in very small amounts in small stainless gravy boats, for six people. My friends were happy with the quality and flavor of their meals, but I was not at all impressed with the amount of pepper on my salad, my $20.95 ribeye, or the very bland pasta that came with it. The scallops were the best part but not seared near enough to flavor them and no juices whatsoever. And the ones drinking had to ask for another beer or mixed drink multiple times. Honestly, I was ready to leave before even ordering when I saw the male owner's eyes. They were both very watery and running down his face and he didn't even attempt to go in the back and dry them or clean them up the whole time which sickened me personally, but I really have to wonder if he was wiping them with his hands when he was out if sight and did he wash his hands? Also, his nose is very small and with the whole draining eye issue it lead us to wonder if he may have some type of disability or deformity so we stayed out of respect. After our meals, we received our checks and paid our bills. We all tipped him well, and with cash and left. He came out of the restaurant after us and started yelling at one of the women in our group over his tip not being enough. Everybody had tipped him, and four of us had tipped him over 20% and he still came out yelling at us. Then in his rampage, he ran back in the door and grabbed the black tip book and ran back outside and waved it in my friends face yelling at her some more. We were all completely shocked and we will never go back plus we will all leave reviews everywhere we can and tell everybody we know how this man treated us! Do not go to the...

When we walked in we were told that it would be at least an hour before we would get service so they did warn us. We decided to wait anyway. There were only 3 other tables with customers so we weren't sure why it would take so long as they were not busy. But we soon realized they only had one waiter and one lady cooking (who we assumed is the owner). We chose to wait so I'm not complaining about that. But the food was terrible. Only 1 person in our party of 6 ate their meal. It was some of the worst I've ever had. When the waiter asked if we liked it, which should have been obvious since all out our plates were still full, we said no. And his reply was "well that happens sometimes". On top of the bad food, the only waiter was doing everything, bartending, bussing, and cashiering and the owner told him he needs to learn to multi task. The poor kid was working his butt off. I felt bad for him til I saw him use his hands to put ice in people's cups, and seconds later wipe his nose with his same hand. Very unsanitary place. The meal costs us over $100 for food that we couldn't even eat it was so bad. No one even apologized for the food or offered any type of discount. This is one place we will...

Gets two stars because it didn't actually made us sick, but we definitely felt the need to wait it out before doing much else for the evening since it was a bit sketchy. We gave it the benefit of the doubt as a grungy hole in the wall. We ordered salmon kabobs and a fish sandwich and the corn fritters. Wasn't anything special or very flavorful and definitely not worth the price of it. We about lost it when the "kabob" came out as it was a single salmon fillet on top of a small (seeming microwave dinner like) pile of rice with a full size wooden skewer stuck in it.... There was nothing on the stick it was just stuck in the fillet like a toothpick stuck in a sandwich 😂 everything comes in a bottle or a can which is probably for the better because someone could easily mess with the ice machine that is next to the mop sink and bathrooms. Still trying to figure out if they have more than one set of salt and pepper shakers for the tables .. we saw the server/hostess take it from one occupied table to another without asking...to 3 different tables 😂 maybe at one time in its hay day was something but there are better options nearby and we would recommend you...
