This Taco Bell has steadily been going down hill for the last few years. Ever since it it became a franchise store. Prices go up, and portion sizes go down. Today I ordered a chicken power bowl, went through the drive through. Lady handed me the bag and it felt really light, lighter than usual. I went over in the parking lot and looked to make sure I had the right order. It was a power bowl container, it just looked like the portion was much smaller than usual. Went back to work to try and enjoy my sad anemic looking power bowl. I decided to weigh it first for curiosity sake. It was a little over half a pound. 9.5 ounces, keep in mind this is with the weight of the bowl and lid also. They charge $10 for this. Ten dollars for half a pound of food. Just let that sink in. This is Taco Bell. I might as well just go to Qdoba or Chiptole and have a much better bowl for about the same price. This item was $5.99 about 3 years ago. I know inflation is an issue, but this is beyond inflation, this is pure greed. When Taco Bell is having record earning calls, you can't use inflation as an excuse anymore. This store and the Brighton store in particular are just out of control on their pricing. The Taco Bell suggested pricing is $7.89 for it. This is not NYC or San Francisco, it's bum F--- Howell. The cost of living index here is low, but you'd never guess that by seeing what the local Taco Bell charges. In fact if you go to the TB website and put in the zip code of San Francisco and start an order, this same item is $8.49. Taco Bell is cheaper in a location with one of the highest cost of living indexes. I don't know what happened Taco Bell, but the owner of this franchise is beyond greedy. I think this might be the straw that broke the camel's back. I don't feel Taco Bell deserves my money anymore. Long time customer, 60k lifetime points, almost all to this one location, and those are only the times I used the app. Anyhow. Yeah, if you like overpaying for mediocre food and scant portions, this is the spot. However, if you value your money and are tired of companies being so greedy, go some where else.
Oh, and I just want to clarify, all the staff I've ever come in contact with were very nice and welcoming. This is not a complaint against them at all. This is a complaint about the greedy franchise owner, and how prices keep going up, and quality and portions...

We took our cups to fill them with our drinks and waited a good 5 to 10 minutes for our food (which we did not mind) but the lady Michelle or Misha (whatever her name was) was bagging our order. My fiancée told her it was for here not to go and she ignored him. He told her again and yet she ignored him again. Josh pointed out to her that it was a fine in order and she got very angry and started ripping the items out of the bag. My fiancée told her not to worry about it and she slammed our food on the counter. We asked to speak with the manager and Leah came out and said she could talk since she had no orders to put out. We informed her what was going on and she stated that that girl was training someone and that the orders show to go until cashed out (which ours was for over 5 minutes). They made the orders backwards so that the people who came in after us all got served first. Manager wanted nothing to do with all the complaints and made the poor girl up front take the brunt of it. When I finally got to talk to him he acted as though I was bothering him and told me they fill the orders in line as they come in. Yes, I would think typically that is true but not todayā¦. They were filling orders backwards. No apologies. Also, two girls came in after us and were served only 20 minutes later. Someone asked them how they got served so quickly, they said they work there. Seriously? If you work there you get to cut the line?? One guy (who was there before us) waited for over an hourā¦. Finally went up for a refund, not only did he waste his lunch time but he left woth no food and they still charged him for his drink. Are you kidding...
