I’m a regular customer and had an experience today that I regretfully say I will not be going back. It appears that there are new people now. I have spent $100’s a month here for many months for breakfast. I’m a doctor and often order in the app to pick up my shake and go. The app does not allow me to edit the order to use the sweetened strawberries instead (as the unsweetened is what the recipe defaults for), but the previous staff were so kind that they noticed I was a regular and began to make my order with it automatically- they even wrote it on the cup with a note how much they appreciate me- and that meant a lot. I looked forward to saying good morning to Sage and Landon and the sweet older than them woman (around my age). Since I’ve seen new faces lately, I have been calling in again prior to pushing my order through to confirm the 1 little change I make. Yesenia answered and was very kurt when she said- ‘no ma’am we can’t do substitutions- it messes up our inventory- you’ll have to come in to order’. I told her, so I have to drive 20 minutes to get there and gamble that there’s not a ton of people in front of me before I go work? I told her I have been ordering (at one point 6 days a week) for months, and now you can’t? I asked to speak to the supervisor in the store at that time, I heard Yesenia grumble to her about me, and when she got on the line she reaffirmed what Yesenia said. She said I would have to put the detail in the app- I told her the Metabolism Boost does not give that option and that’s why the awesome employees before her would do that for me. After I told her I did a great review for the company already (which I’m considering removing)- she changed her tune and said she could do it. I told her I changed my mind about ordering, I don’t order food from people that I just argued with. I won’t be able to eat it in confidence after that- I worked in the food industry in the past and I know better. I will be going elsewhere now or making my own protein shake at home. Read moreAndrew and Landon are saints. I was in a hurry and thought I placed my order online but I didn’t. I pushed the order through on the app and they made it right away- but it was wrong. Clarifying- the app was wrong, I always order the metabolism boost and the app showed a gladiator strawberry (not delicious) and even my full history showed as if I have been ordering it all along- I haven’t. In my haste of figuring out what happened- I know I was Kurt with them- but despite my frustration they made the metabolism boost for me- Andrew took the order correction with a smile and Landon frantically made it to help me get to work on time. I know I was a difficult customer this morning but they were professional and helpful. I left with an appreciation for those classy dudes.

Read moreMy mom told me I had to go to the Georgetown smoothie king this morning and get bubbles. So I went to the Georgetown location and asked for bubbles, thinking it was a drink. Instead, the sweetest kindest woman I have ever met came up, took my order with compliments, jokes, and funny references to my name. Then her and another woman she kept calling June Bug made my angel food with lightning fast precision even though there were four other people waiting and when one wasn't making a smoothie, it was food, it was cleaning, it was laughing and joking with customers in-between.
