MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Georgetown

Disappointed ☹️. I bragged about MOD pizza to my boyfriend. He's really picky but gave in and wanted to learn of this place I raved about. I love MOD pizza because they have amazing gluten free crust. Not on this day!

The wait wasn't too bad for us, after we arrived a lined formed to the door. I asked for gluten free crust. I also had to ask for the server to change gloves 🤨.

All of the crust he pulled out was ripped, broken or cracked. The line continued to grow behind me and my boyfriend had a concerned look on his face....I said to him, let's just go ☹️.

I felt terrible for holding up the line....should not have but that's just me. For time sake, I told my BF to go first.....he decliined. I tried to let others go around me but they were into their own conversations and didn't see my cue to go around.

Apparently, the servers were looking for more GF crust. Another server brought one over but by then we were already leaving. It was a good 3 minutes ish that passed.

Yay! for the team player for trying to resolve the issue so discretely....that I totally did appreciate. 😊

I still love MOD pizza....maybe this location just isn't the one for me/us. We may try...

We've ordered from MOD before. Last night, we had a craving for pizza, our group of 3 couldn't agree on toppings.

We also wanted pizzas with more than the traditional toppings. MOD Pizza to the rescue!

We ordered 4 very different pizzas. Each was delicious, a good size for dinner plus snack later.

One of the amazing and wonderful things about MOD is the create your own pizza experience. There's 1 size for a set price, they don't charge per topping, they have a great variety of base sauces, fresh toppings (feta cheese, Italian sausage, chicken, garlic--fresh and roasted-- and a variety of veggies and herbs--fresh bail and fresh rosemary) made for delicious and unique pizza creations.

MOD puts variety into the traditional pizza "experience" and the pricing and sizes encourage and allow for experimentation that is otherwise absent in pizza cuisine.

We'll definitely be ordering from them again. I'm sure we'll get some of the same selections (Italian sausage, fresh garlic and feta cheese is always a winner) and also experiment with other combinations of flavors depending on our whims...

Always a great, but kind of annoying when you are a regular customer. You order your pizza well done, it’s a Sunday afternoon, they aren’t busy. You order online. In all caps in the notes WELLDONE, but yet you get home and your pizza is not even normally cooked, it was pretty much raw. You never order cheesy bread, but you do this time, and there is no Marinara sauce with your cheesy bread.

Not cool, usually this place is great. But today was the worst pizza I’ve ever had from there.

Some of the pizza cooks do a great done, and some cook the pizza for less than 2 mins. Sure wish they would read the notes

And again, not sure why there is even a not section, when no one reads the notes you leave for the pizza. How hard is it to cook is WELLDONE, my pizza today was basically raw. 8/13/2023

I enjoy this place, but man sometimes they just really mess up. Pizzas almost raw and so soft, asked for well done. Asked for ground beef on one, instead they put sausage on it. Two of the worst pizzas I’ve had from there in a long time. 8/23/25 just complete...
